This was my second stay (when we stayed last year, it was called the Blue Lagoon Clinic Hotel). A wonderful hotel but at quite the price. What you pay for is having the luxury of going from your room to the lagoon. And even better from the lagoon to your room and straight to bed. And of course access to...

My wife and I chose to end our 5 night stay in Iceland at The Hotel Silica. It is very expensive but a perfect way to finish off our trip. A beautiful calm and serene oasis in an amazing geothermal and volcanic landscape. We chose to visit the Blue Lagoon as soon after check-in as possible. We booked a table...

Going to the Blue Lagoon was on my bucket list, and I wanted to do it right! We stayed here on our last night, drove from Reykjavik in the morning. I am so glad that we made the right decision after all, and stayed at this hotel instead of the surrounding much more inexpensive alternatives. When I originally started my...

The best way to enjoy of the blue lagoon. Perfect service & room, but meals & breakfast average. Entrance inside the public area of the blue lagoon is included but you really no need to go there, you will be completely disappointed

We really enjoyed our stay. The private lagoon was so much nicer than being with the crowds across the way at the public blue lagoon. Rooms were lively as was staff and service. And included in the price were passes to the public part of the lagoon. But why would you want to go there when you could be here?...

Beautiful room, stunning shower room, great views and very helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. The private lagoon is an added bonus! Lovely spa break for couples. It is on the pricey side, however it is a fantastic way to end a holiday in Iceland.

This hotel is beautiful with Nordic styling. Outside the doors of each room is access to a lava field (which you cannot walk on). The hotel has a really nice pool outdoors as well as a smaller soaking-type pool indoors) with separate men's and women's entrances (through a locker room). There is clean silica "mud" in bowls to put on...

Our first time at the Blue Lagoon was in 2015 and we knew right away that we had to go back to stay at their hotel. The Blue Lagoon is getting more and more popular and chaotic to the point that it's not as relaxing as before. So in my opinion, staying at the Silica Hotel is a MUST. We...

I do enjoyed staying at Silica Hotel with my boy friend. Came here for Blue Lagoon. I do love the public Blue Lagoon but also the private one at Silica Hotel. It's more relaxed and cozy. I love do face mask and after I came out from the Lagoon, my skin turns to soft and moistured. I had Water Treatment...

Excellent luxurious hotel room. Rooms are spacious Nordic style with excellent views. This hotel has its own private lagoon, amazing to be outside in the lagoon in sunshine, snow, hail, but to experience pure relaxation. One of our party suffers with Psoriasis, and amazingly saw a significant improvement in just one day's soaking in the silica/blue lagoon. We were only...
