I was quite disappointed with the overall service. Firstly, the check in time is 2pm and my room wasn't ready at 2. luckily the reception staff was able to find me another room immediately. So everything seemed to be ok but that was obviously not the case. The reception told the main lagoon staff that I have just checked out...

yes, iceland is expensive. yes, the blue lagoon clinic hotel is no exception. but, the rooms are pristine, the bed was so comfy, and the private lagoon is for sure much more enjoyable than the main lagoon with its many, many tourists. there isn't much around, so if you're not up to walking to the fancy lava restaurant, the very...

Booked in here when the main blue lagoon was closed for renovations. Great having 3 hours of pure relaxation which included your own room to chill out in as well. The lagoon itself is a unique experience that you can't leave Iceland without dipping your toe into! The murky blue warmth, the weird sensation of the squishy floor, the cold...

Booked the 3 hour stay in the clinic as a surprise for my husband. Definitely worth the money since you get your own room to leave your belongings in, to get showered and changed and to relax in. The service was superb and the accommodations were wonderful. There are several cozy nooks where you can have a great view of...

I opted for a 3 hour luxury experience here. Great staff, they show you around and explain everything thoroughly to you. The food is great, especially the fresh fruit they deliver to your room upon check in! The lagoon itself is extremely mesmerizing. I looked at it for a solid 5 minutes before going in. Some spots are much more...

The rooms are spacious, but like log cabins. Everything is wood and lava. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. You have access to the private bit of the Blue Lagoon, it is unbelievable. The water is really warm, there is steam rising from it, and the surrounding vista is moss-covered lava fields for miles and miles....

So this hotel is super nice and definitely has the feel of a Bond villan compound. The rooms are very well thought out and comfy. Quick note to travellers: one, there are no minibars or room service. So, if you arrive hungry, your options are to go into town, eat from the VERY small "mini bar" in the lobby or...

We didn't stay over night but had a 4 hour slot at the Clinic due to the main lagoon being closed- Sure it was pricey like everywhere else in Iceland but the exclusive luxury feel to this experience was worth every penny! We arrived at The Blue Lagoon Clinic, which had an up market spa ambience we checked in with...

Ok so the Lagoon is nice, warm and relaxing. The atmosphere is chilled out. The bit that ruined it was the staff, when we arrived it was unorganised chaos. There was no formal Que, people just squeezing in and staff not politely saying to form a Que to the left etc. My wife then went to get a drink after...

The Blue Lagoon Clinic is very expensive but then most of Iceland is. The hotel was very welcoming and the rooms basic but very clean and comfortable. We spent the afternoon in the hotel's small lagoon pool surrounded by stunning snow covered volcanic rock, there is something very 'other worldly' about the scenery here. We were given free facial treatments...
