Our group stayed here for the 1st. on-the-road night of our Southern Iceland tour. The hotel is an unremarkable low rise building with some of the rooms looking right onto a side road. Having initially been allocated 1 of these ground floor rooms, my request to change was swiftly arranged & I was given a room (albeit smaller) looking onto...

The room is big, but the facilities is just ok, no refrigerator in the room, and I even got a bit itchy on the bed. :( But they got fast wifi! The service is good, people are very kind and willing to help. A bit far from the closest restaurant, better buy things to eat on the way before check-in.

Hello P6391SAsandrah, Thank you for your review. We're grateful for your feedback. We're glad to hear that you liked your stay at our hotel. I'm surprised to hear that the bed condition wasn't satisfactory. Our staff would have been happy to assist you with that. Also, for now, we do not have mini-bars in our rooms (except for the mini...

Stayed one night at Hotel Hvolsvollur during our Iceland trip in September 2016. Nice hotel if you are on a budget or if you just need to find a hotel in the area which there aren't that many. Certainly enjoyed the hot tub to relax our tired feed after a long day. Continental breakfast was included.

This is a great place where to stop driving back from the Golden circle and planning to continue your journey towards the southwest coast with a stop at Skogafoss to continue to Vik. Easy to find. Local shops and petrol station just 5 mins away. The room was not too bad. The bed quite comfy. It's not a luxury place...

This was the first nights accommodation as part of my Across the Wilderness Tour of Iceland provided by Iceland Travel and being a solo traveller even I thought the room was a bit on the small size. I have yet to get use to the doona sleeping thing To sleep with only a doona is to me not comforting and...

We stayed here for four nights as part of a volcano tour. It made a good location for visiting various attractions in the region. Our bed room was a decent size as was the bathroom. The set dinners our group were served were sizable but nothing to rave about. There is a grocery store nearby where we bought food for...

Not particularly fancy but very clean and quite comfortable. The price is good and it's well positioned for touring the area. The immediate area has a decent choice of restaurants, grocery store, gas station and drug store. We came in from Amsterdam and it's a reasonable drive from the airport. Impressed with the woman running the front desk, most of...

It has an unassuming facade and very little parking but inside it's wonderful. It's right off the ring road. Check in took about 30 seconds which was great since we came in very late and tired. The room was big and comfortable. Plenty of space. Bed, pillows, and blankets were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. They had coffee, tea, juice,...

Just off the Ring Road, this hotel was a good stopping point after completing the Golden Circle and before heading off east along the southern coast. The room was OK, big and clean. Bathroom was also clean and large - good shower. The hotel and rooms are a bit dated - could use better lighting, new carpeting in the halls...
