We stayed here one night on our visit with our 20m infant. The staff were very friendly. Provided great information about the area. Great dinner at the restaurant. Totally worth dinning here. Loved our stay here. Wish we had more time to enjoy the place. They had farm with horses, chicken, dogs. My little guy enjoyed petting them 😊

We arrived to this beautiful location in the evening, situated at the foot of a mountain and between Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, about 20 mins drive to each. We were surprised by the location and the quaint atmosphere when entering the hotel, they have really stuck to the 'country' of their name through all the rooms. We stayed in room 7,...

A cosy, country style hotel with only a few rooms. Comfortable, spacious and clean. We were allocated room 4 and it offers a great view of the mountain and farm with icelandic horses nearby on the day that we checked in. There is a side table where you can enjoy tea and view the scenery. Bed is very comfortable, toilet...

We came to this place for lunch just as it was about to close, after driving through a blizzard! Though we were the only people in the dining room, they stayed open for us -- and the food was amazing! We had the horse starter, which was just absolutely outstanding, and the lamb, which was also great. The homemade bread,...

After reading reviews about the restaurant, my friends and I decided to come for dinner and I am so glad we did. The restaurant decor was nothing spectacular and with paper napkins, I was hopeful for a tasty meal but didn't expect anything amazing. So when an amuse bouche came out of smoked trout with a lovely sauce, we knew...

There is a similarity to just about all of the hotels outside Reykjavik. I will only mention what is different. The attached restaurant is the most expensive we experienced in 15 days traveling around the island. The Arctic Char did not compare to at least one other place. The breakfast was excellent - the first time we were offered scrambled...

Hotel Anna is a very cozy hotel. It is situated just a few minutes from three gorgeous waterfalls. The staff is friendly and the rooms are small but accommodating with cozy comforters for the cold Icelandic nights. The bathrooms are equally small but have a towel warmer, hair dryer, toilet and walk in shower. Of note they do not supply...

Beautiful countryside hotel. Rustic and quant dining area with a considerate and local dinner menu. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. The room was comfortable and cozy. It was fun standing outside at night watching the northern lights with other guests, all of us in amazement!

My friend and I booked a twin room for one night while we were traveling through the area. The room was very rustic, with a large wardrobe and wooden headboards, but it is all part of the charm. The room was very clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The true charm of the hotel was the staff, everyone who...

A real old manor, with large, creaky rooms that harken back to another era. Hotel Anna is a true country experience, come here for spectacular local produce, amazing views of the surrounding mountainous scenery and a cozy rustic feel. No, the wifi isn't great, but if you are looking for a quiet spot to read a book you'll find plenty....
