I really enjoyed this hotel, spending 2 nights here. the rooms were comfortable and i was amazed at how great the cuisine was. I found the staff absolutely brilliant also. I would not hesitate to go again. I particularly liked the hot tub and sauna. It was having a hot tub session in the dark that we noticed the skies...

Our stay couldn't have been better. After arriving in Iceland early in the morning and hitting the road, we were exhausted when we arrived at the Hotel Skogar. We were warmly greeted and went to our room to rest a while before having a wonderfully prepared dinner at the hotel. After a great night's sleep, we had a very nice...

This hotel is in an good location, close to the Skogarfoss Falls. As with most guesthouse rooms in Iceland, the room is not very large but was definitely clean and fresh. The mattresses were particularly comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. Breakfast was simple but very fresh and adequate. Dinner was expensive, like all Iceland...

Generaly - Absolutely fine and very easy to find. Food - Great Staff - Very friendly, helpefull and efficient. Bathroom - Shampoo, shower gel, flanels and even bath robes are provided. Rooms - Rather cosy but it was fine for one night for us. My only issue is that the rooms have very little ventalation and are a little stifling...

We stayed here due to being right next to the waterfall, for one night. The staff were very helpful and although you needed dinner reservations ( we didn't arrive until 7:30pm), they let us in early as we were starving from driving through a snow storm to get there! Best dinner I have had - huge filet of Cod, on...

Friendly staff, tea and coffee machine in reception area, chocolates on the pillows, hot tub wasn't hot enough but the sauna was lovely. Location great for a stop off on the ring road. Bistro Bar up the road towards the waterfall perfect for a casual and delicious dinner. Unfortunately the wifi was not working during our stay but the staff...

Nice hotel in a good location. The room was cute and the bed really comfy. The bathroom is small and they use geothermal hot water. The staff was really friendly. It was a good home base for exploring South Iceland. Great for a couple or someone solo, but might not work for a family.

The hotel is 2 mins walk from Skogarfoss. It's a family style hotel. Room is okay and with all you need for basic stay. The hotel offers free coffee, breakfast is okay. They have a very nice and small restaurant. Staff told me there is an outdoor spa but the jacuzzi was out of work so we didn't try.

Most flights to Iceland seem to arrive first thing in the morning. So we drove straight from Keflavik all day and made our final stop for our first night in Iceland at Hotel Skogar. It is just a few steps from Skogarfoss (waterfalls); the hillside/mountain visible from our bedroom. The hotel is small and compact and so are the rooms....

Stayed one night, mid-trip. Rooms simple but clean. There's a nice hot tub in the back for guests to use. We relaxed in the tub for a few hours, gazing at the amazing star studded night! Truly relaxing
