A really nice hotel! We had a room with a beautiful view on the lake, the staff helped us with a lot of things and we also had a very good breakfast. The room was clean abd the bed was comfortable. Worth a stay!

We emailed the manager Simone before our visit and he arranged a couple of wine tastings during our visit. One was on the roof of the hotel, with a cold cheese and meat platter served with the wines. Very enjoyable. The other was at a nearby restaurant, also excellent. It is a 25 minute walk down to the lake where...

So maybe a bit biased as it was 35 degrees but still the temperature in the room never got below 25 degrees even with air conditioning on. Asked for help with air conditioning but never came. Wifi connection very poor and slow to use in room, only moderate speed in reception. Staff plesent. Breakfast adequate normal meat, cheese, eggs, pastry...

This small hotel is within walking distance of the rail station and features a young, tight-knit, energetic, and enterprising staff who see their job as helping in any way they can. These guys answer email swiftly and can rescue you from problems. Breakfast is ample and served with views onto historic walkways. Regular rooms are small but feel spacious if...

The last leg of our vacation to Italy was spent in the quiet, beautiful town of Castel Gandolfo. Gorgeous area with lakeside views, attractive shops and delicious restaurants. Try "Arte & Vino" for an amazing antipasti.

This hotel was the last stop for my husband and I on our recent trip to Italy. It could not have been more perfect for the R & R we needed before we returned to the States. The weather was overcast but that didn't take away from the breathtaking beauty of Lake Albano. Our small room had a (small) balcony...

This was a very nice hotel in a very beautiful little town. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Albano lake, a stunning view indeed. We are not huge "popeophiles" but if you are, this is the town for you with the popes summer residence. Our room was nice and small and the cleaning staff did a good...

We recently spent 3 nights at Hotel Castel Gandolfo, at the end of a 3 week Italian holiday. This is a nice hotel in a peaceful town that overlooks the lake. It is 10 min walk to the train, which can get you into Rome in 45 min. I think it is hourly week days, and every 2 hours in...

We stayed at the Hotel Castel Gandolfo from the 29th March to the 1st April 2015. Simone and his colleague could not have been better hosts; they were friendly, welcoming and helpful and made our stay a very happy one. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the small town and the lake view rooms offer fantastic vistas...
