Not impressed. After day 1 the room had not been cleaned. Called the front desk and was told we were suppose to request housekeeping the night before. Okay, fine I requested housekeeping for the next day (but it would have been nice for them to mention when we checked in). Unfortunately, housekeeping didn’t come on day 2 either. Requested to have at least clean towels delivered but was told there was shortage of towels in the city. Wonder if this could have been averted if our room had been cleaned earlier in the day? I know there are a lot of issues in the hospitality industry now, but letting us know about these things ahead of time would have been nice.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, our linen service provider did not deliver clean towels back to the hotel for the past couple of days which put us in an extremely difficult and challenging spot. This is not the norm and caught us off guard, I am so sorry that this happened during your visit. Joe Capalbo, General Manager, joe.capalbo@kimptonhotels.com

Hotel's Favourite
We arrived in Boston on a Sunday around 12:30pm after a 3 hour drive...My wife called the hotel and asked if we could get an early check-in...Woody told her yes, and upon arrival he couldn't have been any nicer...My wife asked if there was any way we could get a room with a view as it's been a while since we were able to escape from the kids for a few days and Woody put us on the top floor with a view of the canal !!! Since the nearest subway stop was approx 10 mins away we walked to and from Faneuil Hall / Boston Common each day (about 25 mins each way) along side the Charles River...Wonderfully scenic and peaceful walk. It was also nice having the Cambridgeside mall connected to the hotel. The self parking fee of $30 kinds of sucks, but when you go to a major city that's actually not too high compared to others, and since I'm not a fan of waiting / tipping for my vehicle every time I want to leave the hotel it was a great option to have...The parking was a bit confusing when we first arrived, but after the first day it was easy to figure out after familiarizing ourselves with the layout. My wife pointed out, and I have to agree, that this was the cleanest hotel room we could recall staying in. If we went back to the area we'd certainly stay here again.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff is exceptional and friendly. I found the room clean and well decorated. But the showstopper is the view. If you visit, I recommend that you ask for a riverfront view. Seeing tourists roll by on the Charles River and the view of the Bunker Hill Bridge is absolutely lovely. Highly recommend.

My fiancé and i decided to take a last minute trip to Boston to catch the Red Sox game against the Yankees. Knowing how crowded the area would be we searched for hotels in the area close to the ballpark on hotels tonite and we stumbled across this Gem. To start…teddy the door man was extremely kind and showed us to the concierge. As we approached the vibe was comforting and the counter host(s) were full of smiles and pleasantries. On the second day we were approached and asked if we would like to tour the city on bicycles….hesitantly we started to walk away cautious of a scam or some sort of solicitation. It was the complete opposite. Monty and woody ( concierge) seeing our concern said guys the bikes are complimentary with your stay……we immediately took them up on the offer, signed a release and we went off and toured the city. We were just minutes from the Boston Museum of Science, Faneuil Hall and all the amazing dining on the North End. We enjoyed ourselves so much that without hesitation we decided to come back 10 days later to see the Red Sox again. Upon arrival we were delighted to see Monty and Woody behind the counter yet again. As we approached they remembered us by name and welcomed us back….Monty and Woody were also able to upgrade us to one of their suites. Amazing! Large master with separate living room. The bathroom has a great tile shower for me. The misses was astounded by the extra large jacuzzi tub with two seats and jets everywhere. Quiet, comfy, cozy….what more could you ask for. Ill tell ya! The hotel is pet friendly!!!! We will be bringing our puppy back with us next time. Thank you so much Monty, Woody, Jess, and Teddy! If the Red Sox win we will be back next week.

My mom and I stayed in a 2 queen beds room for 3 nights. It was our first visit to the area and we wanted to experience both Boston and Cambridge. This area is expensive, which is reflected in this hotel as well. Having said that- the hotel is great! the rooms are big and clean, the staff is nice (they helped us with early check-in and late check-out at no cost), and the location is great (walking distance from Boston). We didn't have any housekeeping during the stay, even though they were cleaning other rooms. Besides that, I would highly recommend this hotel.
