For Father's Day, we visited our son who is pursuing a PhD degree in Cambridge. At the last minute, we received a weekend special announcement from the Kimpton Hotels. What a wonderful experience! Check-in was flawless and engaging; the room was large, very comfortable and decorated in an eclectic manner. Free wifi was available because we're loyalty members, too. The... More

This hotel was a highlight of our recent trip back east. The room was lovely. The staff was exceedingly gracious. The location was very convenient and despite the nearby road construction we heard no noise on the 5th floor. I dinged the location slightly, because construction makes travel by car to the airport inconvenient. If you aren't headed to Logan,... More

Stayed for a weekend and am impressed. Rates were reasonable. I arrived on a redeye and was able to check in a bit early, which was appreciated. The lobby is attractive with a nice living room to sit in with complimentary coffee and beverages. The room was a little on the small side and faced the interior courtyard. It was... More

We stayed in the Marlowe for 4 nights - 2 nights at the beginning of our tour of New England and 2 nights at the end. Both rooms were spotlessly clean, well decorated and remarkably quiet for a city hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms and bedroom a really good size. The service from the reception staff... More

This was our 2nd trip to the Hotel Marlowe, first one in 2010. As before, the staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Highlights included kayaking in the Charles River (free of charge!), and a surprise upgrade to the Presidential Suite. Conveniently located near the Science Museum, and a mall which enables inexpensive dining options, we... More

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel on a Friday night to attend a sporting event at the TD BankNorth Garden in Boston. We chose this hotel for close proximity to the Garden and we were happy with the choice and very happy with the hotel. We got to the hotel around 6:30 and had missed the wine reception... More

Great location, helpful friendly staff, lovely rooms. One of the best small hotels. I visit Boston regularly and always try to stay at the Marlowe where I am welcomed back each time. The level of attention and customer service is amazing, as is the management's response to problems and suggestions.

This hotel is situated in a very convenient location , close to MIT and the mall in Cambridge. Not sure about their "pet friendly" policy as it left me wondering how many pets had stayed in our room and how well they are cleaned after every guest...

I find the staff cares and the rooms are clean. Also a good gym and nice breakfast. Front desk people went out of their way to give me directions and options. Also like the fact the hotel is close to a shopping mall.

The Hotel Marlowe is a fun hotel with a great manager's wine reception, friendly employees, and comfortable rooms. Our room on the top floor was quiet, which is always a plus. The only thing I'd change is the super large (way too high) pillows that were on our bed. I love that this hotel is dog friendly and that the... More
