The hotel location is great if you are visiting MIT. But otherwise, there are better choices in the Boston area, and this hotel should be avoided at all costs. We checked into the hotel on a Friday night. Valet parking was full. I have extra pillows requested in my profile preferences. The extra pillows were not in the room when...

We stay at Marriott's regularly and the service here, specifically the front desk, was amazing. They listened to your needs and were very professional and helpful. I have not experienced a nicer and helpful Marriott staff!! The female trainee (lisa?) at the front desk did a spectacular job at meeting our needs and being professional!! Our room was very nice...

Within walking distance of MIT, this hotel was just plain nice! We stayed on the Concierge level and the food/snacks/drinks were convenient and well worth the extra cost. We had an awesome view of the Charles River and the roll-away bed they provided was a "real" bed and not a bunch of springs with a thin mattress. I'd definitely stay...

Stayed here for 4 nights on business. Convenient location for MIT and for heading into Boston. Literally right next to the Kendall Red Line stop. Several good places to eat within a few blocks. Farmers market on the square outside one weekday afternoon. Very comfortable bed, and a nice room (quite large for a city hotel with a sofa, desk,...

I stayed at this hotel twice recently on a business trip. The hotel is in a good location and the rooms and facilities are also reasonable. The price is a little expensive but not unusual for Boston. The reason for the low rating is that on return from this trip I found the hotel had charged my credit card $4.50...

Just completed a great visit to Boston to see family, and this hotel is great for a home base. It's VERY convenient to the Red Line (almost attached to the lobby) which gets you to Harvard, Davis and Central Squares, and South Station. Many good restaurants in the area. The lobby renovations are done, and the staff attitude is as...

We liked the easy access to the subway across the street and the Cosi restaurant had a great breakfast. Each room has a corner window and if you face the street you have a great view of the skyline. Starbucks in the lobby. Concierge extremely helpful.

We stayed here for two nights during our visit to the Boston area. Pros: great location right next to the T station and MIT, clean room with a living area (sofa and a coffee table), cool corner windows, toilets that flush very quietly (some hotels have violently flushing toilets), very friendly lobby staff, comfortable beds and covers, easy self-checkout using...

I stayed at 25th floor. It has nice view of the city. However, it was noisy from engine or motor-like sound. It is not air conditioning or refrigerator in the room. Given the height of the room, it is also not from traffic. Must be somewhere in the building. It was certainly annoying. When you go there, just be careful....

Hello Yhayashi0728 - Thank you for commenting on your recent stay at the Boston Marriott Cambridge. The view from the 25th floor is amazing; however, it is difficult to enjoy if you are experiencing noise as you described. I have not heard of this type of situation in the past and would like to inspect the room you were in...

Great location, across the street from MIT and 2 subway stops from Harvard and Harvard Square. I was able to get here quickly from Logan Airport via the free Silver Line bus and subway Red Line. Kendall/MIT Red Line stop is right at hotel's door. Hotel staff was very friendly! Hotel has paid in-room WIFI; HOWEVER, it has FREE lobby...
