Guest services was friendly. The accommodations were lacking in my opinion for the nightly room rate (avg. of $300/night for 10 floor water view. Cover fell off of the closet light late in the night and the handle to the bathroom sliding door was broke. On the third day we asked for housekeeping and was told they were not going in to rooms for housekeeping, put your towel outside the door and ring for more towels. Very disappointed.....

Hotel's Favourite
My first night at this hotel was rough. I arrived, unpacked and settled in to get some work done. Then I discovered a leak in the bathroom ceiling. These thing happen, but it was really annoying because I had unpacked and was trying to work. Also, one of the reasons I had booked my stay in the hotel was because I had a leaky roof being repaired at home. I couldn't believe it when my hotel room had the same issue! I called the front desk. The staff immediately got me into a new room that was the same quality and had the same stunning view of the river. Of course, I had to pack up then move, unpack and settle into my new room so I lost some valuable time towards my work deadline. However, the hotel staff repeatedly checked on me and followed up during the rest of my stay. They made sure that I had what I needed, that I liked my new room, gave me the late check out that I requested, etc. The customer service was above and beyond - and would be at any time - but especially during a pandemic when everyone is tired and spread thin. The staff really did go out of their way to follow up with me and make sure that after that incident in my first room, the rest of my stay was as wonderful as possible. (They also sent someone to fix the issue in my first room as soon as I left it.) The river views are lovely. The rooms have everything you need. However, it is the staff that really sets this hotel apart from others.

Great hotel if you have an appointment at MEEI. It is an easy walking distance to the hotel for an early morning appointment. Stayed with two boys and did the Museum of Science the night we arrived for the lighting show and duck boat tour. We were able to keep our car parked at hotel and were just a short walk to it. Meei is just a mile walk that is about twenty minutes. The hotel restaurant was a nice surprise with food for all ages to eat. This hotel has become a staple in our visit to Boston. It is the only hotel I found within waking distance to MEEI that has an indoor pool.

Room Tip: Parking garage is great. We had to take our pickup truck and it was easy to navigate the garage.

I attended a wedding on 9/11/21 and the waitstaff, particularly a gentleman named Derek, was awesome! Derek was attentive, kind and cared about the representation of the Hotel and it showed in his excellent service. I appreciate great service and wanted to leave a review to commend Derek and the rest of the staff.

We checked into the hotel after a long drive from Maine....the front desk was very friendly upon check-in. We were informed that on top of our hotel charges we would be charged an additional $42 for parking per night! This should be disclosed when making a reservation. The hotel did give us a 20% off in any of their onsite dining facilities and two free drink coupons which was a nice gesture. When booking the reservation I paid an additional $30 to upgrade our room to a river view. They gave us room 1020 and you could barely see the river. I called down and asked for a different room to which they stated room 704 was available and closer to the river, but the windows in this room were the same size and provided a closer view, but still not what I would consider worth the extra money! The room was mostly clean, with the exception of a dirty kleenex that was left in the nightstand drawer from a prior guest. The bathroom is the size of a cruise ship! When you sit on the toilet your bum actually touches the shower glass....NO JOKE! I am only 4'11"...my husband is 6''2" and had to sit sideways on the toilet and his knees touch the sink! The ART restaurant was good and our server Rick was great I had the burger and my husband had the grilled shrimp and crabcakes. Also, the hotel is not servicing your room with the excuse of covid still! In my opinion, this is ridiculous!
