An intimate hotel with spacious rooms, good bathrooms and pleasant, friendly staff - the perfect place to stay in Trani with views of the sea, lots of restaurants and good bars close by. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and central then this is the place to stay.

The hotel is situated in the main square overlooking the harbour. There are only 13 rooms. Our room and bathroom had no view but was comfortable and spacious. We went in early April 2017, the season had not really started so the roof terrace and its restaurant were not yet fully open until April 18th. This did not detract from...

This hotel is a grand building. A converted palace, there is a feeling of grandeur whilst also keeping the simplicity which is what makes Trani special to me. The rooms are beautifully renovated whilst containing many of their original features, especially the ceilings and the facilities are of a very good standard. It is ideally located just off the harbour...

Trani is a BEAUTIFUL town that one should not miss when visiting Puglia. The Mare Resort is a huge converted palace, all rooms are located on the second floor. It is in a prime location, on a beautiful square facing the sea. So far, so good. It calls itself a 'resort' and is rated 4 stars. I must have missed...

I used to visit Mare Resort pretty often for breakfast or afternoon coffees, it's a good place where you can relax and chill enjoying the lovely view of Trani and its amazing cathedral, the service is not bad, the food quality is ok.

Overlooking the Piazza Quercia and across the harbour to the Cathedral. A converted old palace - the hotel occupies the second floor and terrace (apparently the first floor is private apartments). The rooms are very clean, all equipped to a very high standard, and ours was very spacious (junior suite). The hotel only has 13 rooms and so the breakfast...

We have spent just one night in Mare Resort in Trani. The hotel is located in an old but renovated building in one of the main squares. The location is amazing and you will find yourself few steps far from the main sightseeing of this beautiful town. The room style is very modern and stylish. Rooms were cleaned and very...

The building has an elegance in its proportions, the use of natural stone and simple modern accents. Get a room with a view on the harbour. The rooms have wind names, they are sparsely furnished but the bed is very comfortable. As it is a four star (3 star equivalent in other countries) there are no toiletries, no cotton pads...

April is still offseason so the hotel did not have everything the way it does in high season, but the room was gorgeous and clean, looking over the harbor - albeit through a small window (Levantine room). The bathroom was very nice, the bed very comfortable and the room very large. Breakfast was delicious. No free parking, but there was...

Trendy, stylish, modern hotel facing the main piazza of Trani, overlooking the port. Rooms seem to be well appointed, but I was surprised by the lack of toiletries, considering that Culti is behind the whole business. Two major complaints: my room was extremely dark, with a small window facing an inner court; and I was awaken at 3 AM by...

“Choose a room with a view of the marina which is well lit at night but be aware that the piazza immediately outside the hotel is very loud especially on the weekends...lots of teenagers hang out here and barking dogs. From what I understand rooms without the view are not particularly scenic.”
