Four of stayed here in 2011 - John was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were small but comfortable. Food was excellent - lots to eat and varied each day. Good area for walking and exploring further afield. good value. Recommended.

We stayed here based on the recommendations online and a Guardian article specifically recommending the food. The place is set in a lovely, peaceful spot about a 30 minute drive from Olbia airport. The room we stayed in was basic but clean and just off the main restaurant. The dinner in the evening was just ok. The antipasti was the...

We stayed for 2 nights in September and would recommend this small B&B. The food was the best we'd had in Sardinia (we'd been there for 2 weeks) and the room was very comfortable.

We did not stay at the Li Licci and only went for the restaurant. There was a set menu which we decided to choose as it offered the possibility to try lots of local dishes...we had not eaten that much in ages but it was excellent. For 40 euros each, we had a 4 courses meal. The starters was a...

Bit off the beaten track but in a lovely setting and well worth finding.Good-sized family room, great place for children and walking. Literally 20 minutes from beautiful sandy beaches and the food was really good.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay here immensely. Li Licci is definitely off the beaten track but the route is well-signed and we had no difficulty finding it. The room was small but pretty, with a tiny fireplace and a view of a sweet courtyard. Jane was full of interesting information and helpful suggestions including directing us to a particularly fun...

We stayed for 3 nights - flying in to Olbia Airport quite late I'd warned Jane that we would be late and she emailed explicit instructions on how to find Li Licci (in similar circumstances I would advise the same). We arrived about 2230 - but supper had been saved for us - which was very welcoming after a miserable...

I would agree with the above. What you don't really appreciate from the website is that this is really a restaurant with rooms. The italian tourists flock here and the food is fantastic - but beware the 7 courses! Don't gorge yourselves on the antipasti as we did only to be full up when the roast suckling pig turns up...

We enjoyed our stay at Li Licci. The food was plentiful and very good indeed - not especially fancy and limited choice, but tasty and totally authentic Sardinian cuisine largely sourced on the premises (right down to the liqueurs!). It's a lovely setting with lots of wonderful oak trees as the name suggests, but our room was pretty basic and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming restaurant with great centre fireplace for the winter and suggestive dehors for warm summer evenings situated in the middle of a wood of mediterranean and cork oaks (hence the name). The menu offers a good choice of delicious typical Sardinian dishes, many of them home produced. Three double rooms and one family room available for guests, all with bathroom. ... more   less
