We stayed seven nights at the Aquadulci at the beginning of September. We stayed in a junior suite, room C. This small and intimate hotel is in great location, nestled amongst beautiful vegetation and walking distance to some of Sardinias most beautiful beaches. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The pool is large enough to swim laps and there were always plenty of lounges available. The suite was the perfect size for us and is tastefully decorated. The terrace is large and quite private. We enjoyed many hours lying on the lounges. The bathroom is large and fresh towels were supplied daily and the toiletries were very good. The bed is comfortable and the sheets of high quality. The suite was spotlessly cleaned every day and the air conditioner was quiet and we were able to sleep well with it on. The room was also very quiet and well insulated. My wife has some food allergies and we notified the hotel before our arrival. They catered for this with exceptional care and she was able to enjoy every meal. This has not always been the case at previous hotels. All the staff are friendly, professional and very accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I always try to be constructive when writing a review because people make decisions while reading it. Although it had many great reviews, several reviews were not great at this hotel. Here's my take.
I just returned from staying there for 3 nights/4 days.
Upon arrival, the reception gave me a warm, kind welcome. Check-in was seamless. They booked a bed for me at the nearby beach club Araj.
I had a suite on the first floor. The room was large with a separate sitting area with a couch and a small dining table. It also came with a small garden with a table and lounge chairs off my room.
To my surprise, they offered the most thoughtful amenities.
A coffee station, a mini bar with simple but necessary beverages, beach bag, ample amount of beach towels, pretty blue slippers, robes and a plethora of toiletries; including a beauty box with ear plugs, eye mask, vanity kit, beautiful bamboo combs and toothbrushes & even a tranquility linen spray.
I went to eat at the outdoor restaurant where lunch is always served. They offered me a cute little welcome cocktail. There was only one woman working so the service was incredibly slow but she apologized and although it took long to just get a salad, I coudln't blame her for servicing the tables by herself.
I was attending a wedding and due to several events, the hotel arranged all my car services starting from the airport pick up to many, many taxis at all times of the day and late night. All went smoothly and with a few adjustments I needed, they were incredibly accommodating and quick.
The last night, I ate at their restaurant. The waiter was incredibly friendly and recommended me beautiful wine pairings from appetizers to dessert. Quite unexpected and the food was incredible!
Traveling alone abroad can be daunting. If you are looking for lots of restaurants to walk to, Chia is not the place to be. If you are looking for tranquility, friendly service and low key beach vacation and want to forget about the world for a few days and just appreciate the beauty around you, look no further than to Aquadulci!

The Aquadulci shines in some respects, but also casts its shadows:
It is located 50 minutes drive (no traffic time) south of Cagliari Airport, without car somewhat secluded and surrounded by nature with public access / PP to beautiful beaches. In 6 months (May to Oct.) as much profit as possible should be generated with seasonal workers.
The hotel exudes sincere commitment. The staff is friendly, except for the manager, everyone smiles. The room is nice, pool/surroundings are clean and the food is good to very good. However, for example for E 6.- one day you get 3 small ice balls, the next only 2.-.
For example, if the masseuse fails, it is not considered necessary to delete the massage offer on the website, nor is a replacement engaged for the last 2 months. There is no double occupancy, although the offer description for about 40 rooms is very extensive.

We booked a 4 day stay at Hotel Acquadulci and when we arrived we noticed our room smelled like sewage. We immediately notified the staff and were offered a different room which was very similar to our initial one, but were told it would cost 60 euros more per night. When I asked if at least the first night could be at our initial rate (in reality I think we should not have been charged more as who would accept to stay in a room smelling of sewage??) they said no. They proceeded to tell me upon checkout the actual price of the new room was 90 euros more than the original, but they were being nice and giving me a discount and ONLY charging 60 euros more. To me, this seemed like a lie, and indeed when I looked at the website I did not see this increased price for similar rooms. So, I felt like they were just telling me a made up number to justify charging me extra. To me, this was just poor form and poor service. Otherwise our hotel stay was nice and the grounds were very peaceful, but this left a sour taste in my mouth.

The food was fine in taste, however, the side dishes prices are the biggest rip-off. We paid 28€ (!) for 2 portions of rice side dish. Although we have expressly ordered a side dish, the waitress only told us that she has to charge "something" and whether we want 2 portions for sure. Instead, we were charged a full-fledged rice dish from the menu and we actually had to pay for it. No accommodation, no understanding. When paying at the reception I also mentioned this again, the staff member just smiled. Clearly a rip-off for us! The main course with salmon cost 20€, so the price for a rice side dish of 14€ is not justified at all.

Beautiful structure 10 minutes walk from Su Giudeo beach (for me the most beautiful in the world). Excellent service, excellent food. Silence. Calm. No organized groups. No chaos. Beautiful swimming pool. Super lawn. Very pleasant, deeply relaxed hotel in a great location near the huge beach, which was sometimes extremely busy. The hotel itself has pleasant rooms with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The evening meal was also very tasty, and we sat by the pool in a pleasant atmosphere. We were very satisfied all round.

Beautiful property with a large garden, well maintained with swimming pool. The room not very spacious and with the terrace overlooking the street so little fruibile.Ottimo service and quality of breakfast. Poor availability at the reception which, with conventional courtesy, on a very hot day, denied us a late check out citing the sold out of the hotel even though the booking sites were several free rooms.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting of lovely gardens, and a decent sized unheated pool, and 10 minutes walk to a stunning beach. Unfortunately the hotel is soulless. The hotel was full when we stayed. There is zero atmosphere and the staff are unfriendly! Nobody smiles; even when you smile at them and say ‘hello’ Breakfast is a bit of a shambles and ordering to receiving coffee takes ages! We only ate in the restaurant once for dinner because it was such a terrible experience. Staff were sad and unfriendly, the food was not very good and orders were mixed up. We went out for dinner every evening after that but you do need a car. Whilst the hotel boasts a Spa and wellness centre most of the time we were there it was closed and appointments were impossible to make. We ended up going for a treatment to a nearby hotel which was very good. Whilst the beach is close there are limited facilities and even though there is a section linked to the hotel you still have to pay for the sun beds. Not a good experience overall.
