The highlights for us:
1. Every single member of the staff at Forte Village are just lovely and super welcoming. The reception staff at Le Dune - Debora, Rosenda and team especially - but it goes through to everyone - the cleaning staff, to the gardeners zipping around in their vehicles saying hi. It is a bit like being in the Truman Show in a really lovely way. I imagine that the resort is absolutely packed in summer so maybe by the time we hit October everyone has relaxed a bit. But it just makes your week.
2. The way everyone treats kids - everyone seems to love kids and treats them like royalty. From the Le Dune team saying 'Ciao' to our toddler every time we passed reception, to the waitress who took him on a guided tour of the kitchen to get his ice cream, to the pianist at dinner entertaining them, to the fact they have a kids'restaurant with everything at the right height... It's just really lovely.
3. There's loads to do for kids - there's the beach, the pools, the play area, the children's wonderland, the train, the footy pitches... even just cycling around the site. You can just spend the week here and not worry about making plans. We would get up, go to the gorgeous beachfront breakfast restaurant with our beach gear, spend the next 2 or 3 hours on the beach, then work out what to do next. Just easy days. The beach is gorgeous and completely uncrowded in October with a lovely bit just up the beach away from the loungers.
4. The weather. It's perfect for us in October with sunny days, temps of around 25, obviously a bit cooler in the evening but still eating outside comfortably in jeans and maybe a jumper if needed. Perfect for being outside all day but not worrying too much about getting too hot or our (fair-skinned) toddler getting sunburnt.
5. The Le Dune rooms - we have stayed in 3 now and they are all really lovely and right next to the beach - you can hear the waves as you walk back from dinner.
6. The gym and the Acquaforte spa - very swish and perfect for the 'grown-up time' we each had to ourselves whilst the other stayed with our toddler.
I could go on. There's very little to complain about - you could say that some things need updating such as the kids water play area - but for us it just adds to the charm of the place.
It's been the same for us 2 years running. We would love to go back again and I'm sure we will.

Every team member was super attentive to us, from the reception to the restaurant, and even the bike concierge (thanks so much Andrea !) to the housekeeping.
I have to say the accommodation itself wasn’t the most luxury and could probably use a bit of updating, but honestly, the kindness and professionalism of the staff made our whole stay feel special. They really do have services for everyone — from young kids to older guests.
Thanks to all for a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back next year!

Attentive to every need that can give smiles, cuddles and attention at any time of the day. We were guests of the Dunes and apart from having taken advantage of all the services of the structure that are of the highest level, we enjoyed all the attention they gave us. Every time we returned to our garden room, we had an aperitif, a tea, glasses with champagne, a wonderful cake to celebrate our anniversary. Everything fabulous, great taste! Highly recommended!

I found dedicated staff who helped me at every stage of the holiday, without ever making me feel abandoned or little followed. So many little attentions every day that made the holiday unforgettable
The food here is from another dimension. My whole family is vegan and the staff made a great effort to give us the best food with an a la carte menu. Everything was splendid.

We booked a room at the Pineta hotel and instead we were welcomed by the team of the Le Dune hotel, sea view with a beautiful welcome. The reception girls booked all the restaurants according to our preferences. Reservation of the Cavalieri restaurants, the Sardinian and finally the gourmet restaurant Le Dune (with an extra charge per person).
Evening entertainment in the square and leisure area with go karts and bowling alley. Bike tours with Andrea!
Great experience! With Team le Dune who made it all the more special with advice and constant support.
We plan to return maybe July and August, when the Resort is in full activity!
