Attended our sons wedding at Mankin Mansion and their service and hospitality was spectacular. The grounds are extremely well kept. The wedding was fantastic and the staff gave all of us friendly treatment. I highly recommend Mankin Mansion for hosting events.

We had our daughter’s wedding at the Historic Mankin Mansion in October and could not have been happier! The great folks at Mankin have wedding planning dialed in. They have spreadsheets and checklists for the hundred details involved in a wedding. I heard “we have that covered” dozens of times while we were in the planning process – and they...

What a beautiful tucked away venue very close to the city of Richmond Va I attended a perfect 50 year wedding anniversary party there and was so impressed with the mansion, grounds and staff! The grounds and mansion are spectacular. TWO thumbs up, WAY up!

If you are looking to stay at a very special place in the Richmond area, you will find this Bed and Breakfast to be so exquisitely romantic that whoever is with you will love you forever. At 83 and as part of a business trip, I hadn't intended to think about it, but I must confess in my fantasy life,...

The owner has a great staff and the wedding is run like a fine tuned watch. Everything is on time and things are in there place. These guys know...

We attended the wedding reception of a dear friend at Mankin Mansion. What a beautiful location. The brickwork was amazing; home, walls, walkways; and the grounds were perfectly manicured. The huge tent with strings of lights and chandeliers was a virtual "fairyland." The mansion is beautifully decorated and the staff friendly and helpful.

We just attended a wedding here. Beautiful grounds, excellent food, friendly staff. The only negative was the lack of bathrooms. 3 for a wedding of 150 people - Yikes !!! - lots of waiting in line. We have more bathrooms for a family of four

Can't say enough about these folks. The venue is superb, these folks know how to run a wedding. They are real pros. If you needed something, it was taken care of immediately. Multiple comments from our guests only reinforced my opinion. Many said that this was the best wedding venue they had ever been to, and a couple of them...

So my friend and his wife got married here and i have to admit that this place is amazing. The old heritage and the attention to detail was great. It is a nice cozy place in the woods and it is quiet too. It is special for wedding and has great service and amazing experience. The surroundings make you comfortable...

My (now) husband and I redeemed a certificate for Mankin during Nov 2011. Though we were not paying them anything, service was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious, we still have our bottle of wine, and the game room was fun to pop popcorn and play pool. That weekend was during the low season, and they didn't have a wedding going on,...

“The Jefferson Suite is very spacious...has 2 rooms in it. The double shower is a must! The room has everything that you need and a few extras! Gets a little chilly at night....the room is adjacent to the lobby, so you do hear some talking at times, but wasn't an issue at all.”
