What a lovely find. We only stayed one night in the carriage house. Anna put on a lovely wine and cheese happy hour at 5pm and with the guests from around the world or locals, we had a wonderful night. Breakfast the next morning was the best B&B breakfast - so much care for detail. Would totally recommend this place...

My wife and I returned to the Museum District Bed & Breakfast for the holiday weekend in January for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We had stayed at this same B&B about two year ago and had made a mental note to return because of its excellent food, service, and location in Richmond (across the street from the Virginia Museum...

We had a wonderful three night stay in the Carriage House in late June 2016. Anna was a gracious host. Excellent fresh homemade breakfasts using local ingredients. The Carriage House was very cozy, clean, and well decorated. We enjoyed the extra privacy and use of the historic main house. Anna also provided a lot of great information about local points...

Easy to find and easygoing experience. Want a close place to the VMFA and the Virginia Historical Museum? You cannot get any closer than this location. Enjoy your own space and bathroom along with a yummy breakfast! The price is perfect and we will make plans again! Enjoy!

Anna made our stay very pleasant with her hospitality, attention to details in our room (The Carriage House), and her delicious breakfasts! The location is perfect for easy access to museums, the Virginia Historical Society (a genealogy goldmine), numerous small cafes and bistros, and great for walks in a beautiful neighborhood. We will return when we visit family!!

This is by far the best B&B we have stayed in in the US and, as others have said in their reviews, we would very much like to return. What makes the B&B special - exceptional even - is the genuine warmth of Anna's welcome and the wonderful environment she has created in her lovely home. We stayed in the...

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place. The proprietor, Anna, was delightful. We stayed in Judge Rhea's suite, which had a living room, bedroom, office, and a beautiful bathroom with the claw tub and steam shower room. Anna served us excellent wines and assorted cheeses at 5:00, and we had a chance to chat. She is such...

Anna was the ultimate host. She saw to all our needs; the food was amazing. We stayed in the Carriage house in the back of the property, which is your own little suite. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the bath was big and towels were fluffy … we even had robes. There was bottled water in the...

Anne's a thoughtful, gracious host; and the location is great - right next door to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and a short walk to Carytown's restaurants and shops. Anne has that knack for making you really feel at home; and the rooms are lovely. Actually, I think this is the only B&B to which we have returned. Usually,...

What a quaint, friendly B&B in the heart of Richmond. The owner, Anne is superb with 5 o'clock wine and cheese for her guest and then you share conversation with her neighbors that she has invited to join you. We had one neighbor that was familiar with the dining in the area and offered excellent places to go. Another couple...
