#1 of 13 B&Bs / Inns in Torrita di Siena
Definitely not a hotel (for all of the right reasons) the property is both a villa and farm, and the style is luxurious yet laid back. A large pool, 100m2, set in spacious gardens with loungers, sunset views and Cypress trees is positioned for privacy, away from the bedrooms. The whole property is fully walled and gated. The villa kitchen has an ancestral heart and we offer a hearty farmhouse breakfast using our own 'liberty eggs' as well as gourmet coffee. There is also a double-equipped kitchen for guests, within a small outbuilding in the garden. The house is well located, being strategic for exploring Southern Tuscany [we have easy access to the Florence-Rome route as well as Siena-Perugia] yet idyllic for lazy days in. Positioned roughly between Cortona & Pienza, within a 'real life' area, we have 4 excellent places to eat out within sight - 2 minute's drive away. You will need a car to get the best from a stay in this part of the world, unless staying as part of a group / villa rental. Please note that we have free ranging ducks, chickens and geese on the property as well as a large, well trained shepherd dog - and bees.

Amazing hospitality from Malvin and his son Henry. Their place is gorgeous of course, with views out of every single room, and superbly appointed accommodations, but what made this place special were the hosts. Malvin treated my wife and I to a freshly prepared breakfast each day, and varied the menu every single time during our 5 day stay. The duck eggs were especially delicious, and the pear muffins were outrageously good. And, my favorite, the Americano from Malvin's industrial espresso machine...The bomb. But, besting Mavin was his son Henry, who was both hospitable and engaging and managed to educte us about Dinosaurs, and the many ways you could form them out of a very special kind of clay. Thank you Henry...We will not forget. And, finally, the process of Safran cultivation was made bare for us thanks to Malvin and a final product in the form of a bread made from Safron was one of our treats that we will never forget. Highly recommend, and wish Malvin and family many great years of health and prosperity. Thank you. Cyrus and Roseann

We had a fantastic time at this bed-and-breakfast in the Tuscany countryside. The room was very comfortable and the place was decorated beautifully. The couple that runs the place was very friendly and amazing cooks — the breakfast is delicious. We had a splendid time!

Family owned (and loved), an incredibly professional and expertly run villa that can accommodate anyone from a solo traveler seeking isolation and relaxation to a large family with kids. Malvin and Amanda, along with their wonderfully talented daughter (and young superstar son, Henry) are always there to please. All the rooms are super clean, sunny and with views... like out of a Tuscan film. A common area with interior balcony provides a fireplace, board games, bar area, comfy sofas and, if needed, tucked away corners for private reading or a simple nap. A separate kitchen allows for private cooking of locally purchased goods (my wife and I took full advantage of cooking locally purchased produce (complimented on occasion by pasta and garden vegs by the Tyler Family). This place is simply breathtakingly beautiful, near many of the premier towns, vineyards, and tourist attractions in and around Montepulciano, Montalcino, etc., and continues to stand the test of time since we first stayed many years ago. Simply put, there is no other luxury level villa better in the area for the price. None.

Tomasz, we have to say that once your family and friends left, the place was flat for a while... even the sparkling water was Still. We felt privileged to be entrusted with your significant family holiday and it was a true pleasure to participate in your celebration. To read that we met your expectations was wonderful and for this we thank you so much! We hope very much that we will meet again - and before too long.. in the meantime we wish you and your loved ones all the very best !

We had a fantastic vacation at Siena House. Malvin and his family are great hosts with a lot of tips. We had problems with our car and Malvin helped us with a local garage, he even took us to restaurants while our car wasn't available. Extraordinary service (far above our expectations) and always very friendly. The house is absolutely fantastic (the nice photos don't lie). We liked our room, the pool, the great breakfast, the geese and especially going "lizard hunting" with Malvin's marvelous little son.
