My husband and I have stayed here a number of times and each time we go to the area we have never considered staying somewhere else. It's a family run agriturismo in the hills of Montefalco with a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious well equipped and extremely clean. The family goes out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The breakfast is abundant and includes some of their own produced meats and homemade cakes. To anyone considering a visit to Italy I would highly suggest this area especially if you are a wine lover. Umbria is much less traveled than Tuscany but offers everything it does. The people in the wineries are extremely nice and want you to discover their products. Umbria is probably what Tuscany was before it was "discovered". We will keep going back to Mille Ulivi!…
We spent a fabulous 5 nights at this Agriturisimo. Everything about the stay was exceptional from the beautiful hill top location just outside Montefalco to the stunning food provided in their restaurant. Such a variety of meals. It is ideal for families with children and the animals on the farm are extensive. Stefania is a wonderful host.
i Mille Ulvili is one of the best experiences of our travelling history and was the perfect start to our three week holiday Italy. We are a family of three (with a toddler) who frequently travel, but this was our first time staying at an agritrouismo. We were welcomed by the most gorgeous family to a very clean and well-kept apartment, friendly animals, a pool with postcard views and local culinary delights. Dinners were incredible. Photos don't do the farm justice. It is set among the prettiest Umbrian Hills and is a stones throw from Italy's best wineries and eateries in Montefalco. Stefania is a fabulous host and has wonderful tips for the region. I couldn't recommend this agritourismo and the local area more highly. Thank you very much Stefania and family!
We spent a wonderful weekend in Umbria with friends. I Mille Ulivi was a perfect choice. The location is beautiful with views of many Umbrian towns, the rooms were spotless and we enjoyed the pool. Stefania could not have been friendlier and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was all homemade with a wide selection. This is a perfect place to stay when visiting Umbria.
We spent 4 days with Stephania and her family. The rooms are simple but clean. The property is very well maintained and has views of the whole valley from Spoleto to Assisi. Montefalco is just a few kilometers away. It wasn't too far off the main highway so it was easy to get to all the big towns. The dinners were delicious. Breakfasts were standard Italian: coffee, breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal. Stephania is a gem, so sweet and friendly. Her English is quite good. This is a working farm with an olive orchard and wheat field and some animals. Other than the rooster crowing in the morning, we rarely noticed the animals. The only negative would be the very marginal WiFi only available outside the dining room. But the cell phone coverage was very good, so if you have mobile data, that's a better option.…
