Wonderful little hotel in the heart of the walled city. A large room with a wonderful large bathroom. Clean and comfortable. And the best part is amazing view of the valley below from our private patio. Light breakfast was just right in portions. Will be back.

PSA: Don't miss this beautiful property when visiting Montefalco! The rooms are large and very clean, and I believe almost all of them have an absolutely stunning view of the rolling Umbrian hills. It's located on the historic town center, and very close to the parking for easy transfer of luggage. The breakfast offered was delicious too. The hosts are very sweet and helpful, although English is not spoken much. Overall this was one of the best stays I've ever had in Italy and I've visited 10+ times... I won't hesitate to stay again when I next visit Montefalco. I've added some photos of the view

We've been staying in a series of old, often historic, buildings that have been turned into small hotels. We stayed here in Montefalco and were pleasantly surprised to have a very modern room that was comfortable. Best shower so far, comfortable room with balcony overlooking the countryside (see pic, tho we did have to ask for a second chair). Tea and water pot in hallway area outside room. No real common space, per se, but I'm sure you could sit outside if you wanted. Standard selection for breakfast, tho the croissants were hot and there was an orange juicer if you wanted really fresh.

I visited for 3 days beginning Movember 15th with a friend for the purpose of exploring the local sagrantino, EVOO and black truffle. We have many friends in the area and they suggested La Rocca would be very nice. We spend little time in hotels. Just to sleep and shower. The location is perfect. Just a block or two off the main square the rear of the property forms part of the town wall fortification looking north north east towards Assisi. I was immediately impressed with the modern renovation that was recently completed. The marriage of ancient and modern is accomplished as only the Italians can imagine. Each room had its own balcony looking out across the Umbrian plains into the hills and mountains to the East. The rooms were simple. Bed, TV, closet. My room had a short hallway to the bathroom which had 2 sinks, a Western style Kohler multi function shower stall, toilet and bidet. Daily housecleaning kept things tidy. Daily breakfast had all the usual suspects, especially local specialty items like cookies, biscuits, jellies, prosciutto, pecorino, cafe. Paola speaks English well and was a delight as was her colleague Maria Theresa. The price was more than reasonable at about $100 US a night. I would not hesitate to recommend this quiet, modern, comfortable bed and breakfast to anyone seeking accommodation in Montefalco.

What an amazing experience. From the moment we got in Paula gave my partner and I the feeling we know each other for years. She was super welcoming and kind, and spoke fantastic English. The rooms are well designed with care for small and big details; combined with the amazing view makes it the perfect place to stay in the area. Breakfast was fresh, but would add a few elements to enrich it. We hope to come back some day.
