We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. A lovely clean hotel, a lovely large room. All inclusive hotel. Plenty of choices to eat. Clean and lovely helpful staff. The only problem was we did eat at the Salia restaurant and we hated it. It was not just us others we met did not like it either. The staff were amazing but hated the food. Just a personal preference others may like the food.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed here for a winter break. What a great choice. The 4 star hotel is lovely. The reception area/lobby is very nice with lots of comfortable chairs to sit and chat to fellow guests. The hotel is in a good location with the seafront and long promenade immediately behind it. The bus station is less than five minutes from the hotel. For 2 euros you get 2 hours of travel all over the island. We were really pleased with our room on the 4th floor. It was a good size with a nice bathroom and a small balcony. It was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, table and chairs, sofa etc. There was a table and chairs on the balcony. We were all inclusive. The hotel offers 4 restaurants. Three are buffets. The main one offers a fantastic variety of good quality, delicious food. There is a good salad bar, one or two soups, at least three types of meat and two of fish. There is an excellent choice of vegetables. For dessert you are spoilt for choice. There are always several gateaux, three flavours of ice cream and other assorted deserts. You can help yourself to iced water, fruit juice, red, white or rose wine (all on tap) or get coffee, tea etc from machines stationed around the restaurant. I defy anyone to say that they have not enjoyed the food. You get as much choice at lunch as you do at dinner. Two of the three other restaurants are also buffets, one offering Moroccan dishes with an Indian twist, the other offering Mexican dishes. Both are good but our favourite was the Salia. This is full a la carte restaurant with wonderful, delicious food all served by very polite and friendly staff.A good choice to sit, meet and chat to other guests is the Cafe Maroc which is alongside the lobby. They serve up lots of speciality coffees and teas and also have a selection of gateaux and ice creams. We spent lots of time here enjoying cappuccinos, coffee with Maltese liquor and the like. They also serve soft drinks, beer, wine, cocktails and other alcoholic drinks so there is something for everyone. The best place for fun in the evening is the Kosy Bar. The staff mix up fantastic cocktails which are all delicious. Every evening the entertainment team deliver very enjoyable shows involving song, dance and acrobatics/gymnastics. We enjoyed every minute. There are three swimming pools at this hotel. The outside one is large with areas for children and adults. There are plenty of sunbeds. There is a children's playground nearby. On the top deck there is a bar and lovely infinity pool with views to the sea. This was closed for the winter but we could look out to it. There is also an indoor pool but we did not visit itI want to end my review of this great hotel with the thing that was most important in giving us a great holiday - THE STAFF. The management of this hotel have put together the most amazing team of employees. From reception, cleaners, restaurant workers, Cafe Maroc, Kosy Bar staff,( hopefully I have not left anyone out,) all were super friendly, super polite, extremely hard working and best of all, made everyone feel important and very welcome. This is a must return to destination! Many thanks to the staff at db San Antonio Hotel and Spa for giving us a memorable holiday.

I can’t rate it zero so 1 will have to do. Terrible hotel, greedy owners with zero compassion. The hotel readily ignore emails/messages, rarely answer their phones, and when they do answer, they put them down on you mid conversation. Unwilling to help their customers in a time of need. The worst customer service I have ever received, and I travel multiple times per year all over. Avoid!

We spent a wonderful few days soaking up the Spring sunshine during a stay at the db San Antonio. This was our first experience of all inclusive and it was great. The food quality and choice is excellent and the main restaurant is great for those wanting flexible meal times. I especially recommend the Tagine restaurant among those you need to book for some great curries and spice. The whole hotel is kept immaculately clean by friendly, helpful staff. The indoor pool and spa is a real treat (remember to pick up towel cards for a 10 euro deposit at the main reception first). We had duplex rooms which had a mezzanine level. huge bathroom upstairs and great pool/sea views. Recommend using the bus station which is very close to see the island (we went to beautiful Valletta) and also taking a boat trip to Gozo and Comino. Hugely recommend this place and a Springtime stay in Malta.

We just spent our honeymoon here on an all-inclusive package and had a really lovely time! The staff are wonderful in every department, although Reception could do with more people at busy times – sometimes there were long queues to check in. Special thanks, though, to Mandip, Shiva, Sachin and Suraj at the Kosy Bar. Even when it was really busy they were welcoming, friendly and efficient – they even remembered, from day two of our holiday, that we don’t like ice in our gin! Absolutely amazing, and they made our honeymoon extra special. We’ve honestly never had such excellent service. The entertainment was also fantastic. We didn’t do any of the daytime activities but the evening shows were top quality – fabulous dancers, singers and acrobats. We were amazed by how good they were. Thanks also to the animation team who gave me the confidence to sing at the karaoke night – I can’t remember everyone’s names but Mike and Shannon were very kind to me! The food was excellent, especially when you think how many guests are being catered for – it’s a big hotel. There was a huge variety to choose from in the Gueliz restaurant, with very little repetition of dishes, and it’s definitely possible to eat healthily if you want to. The speciality restaurants were also very good (Saboroso does a fantastic chilli con carne), and the hotel app worked well for booking tables. The sharing menu at Salia can get a bit repetitive, but you can pay a supplement of 12 euros per person to choose from the main menu. Again, it’s top praise for the staff, especially Halka, Regie and Jey. Our room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was superb. The ‘inland view’ was a bit depressing and the balcony was tiny, so I’d recommend paying extra for a sea view if you can. Yet again though, the staff were great – the room was kept spotless, and when we had a problem with our fridge a maintenance man came to fix it the same day. The gym was very well-equipped, and although the indoor pool was quite small it was nice and warm, and fairly quiet during the adults-only time of noon till 3pm. The outdoor pools looked wonderful, but too cold for me in February! The bus station is close by and we did use the buses a lot during our first week – they were easy and reliable, but they do go round the houses and journeys can take a long time. We hired a car after that from a place immediately opposite the hotel (Island Cars? 100 euros for the week and friendly service) which meant we could go more off the beaten track and be a bit more independent. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you don't mind getting a bit TOO used to being pampered. I can hardly believe I’m having to cook my own dinner, and I am very much missing the cocktails too 😊

Just spent a great week at the DB San Antonio. The friendly staff, how clean the hotel is, fabulous evening entertainment and lovely food made our stay a very enjoyable one. Will definitely return. The only thing was there was an Austrian football team staying for a couple of days and I couldn’t find out which one. ( wanted to tell my grandson) 😂 . But seriously a great time.

We booked 2 rooms for 4 adults, and had a lovely staying at the hotel. The staff was always helpful and super sweet ( especially Spencer, the host of the Gueliz restaurant). We arrived quite early in the morning and we were even able to check in earlier( since our room was ready). The food at all the restaurants was very good: a lot of diversity and super tasty. The area is more like a resort type (so more older people) hence, we recommend a car or an Uber to explore the rest of the island. All in all we highly recommend the place for a nice& chill experience on the island.

When I arrived at the hotel I skipped all the queue. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Our room was excellent and spacious it was like a small flat. The cleanliness was at the right spot. The food was delicious and fresh and it was really nice that we had the all inclusive.Marion the guest relations manager was really nice and helpfull. Overall the two night stay was excellent and for sure we re going to be back again with no doubts.

We are currently in San Antonio, having a wonderful break. The cleanliness is impeccable. The rooms are very comfortable and bright. This is our 5th time since we enjoy the speciality restaurants, having the chance to dine in different restaurant every night. We met the guest relations manager- Marion Spiteri, she is a gem to the hotel, she gave us all the information we needed and assisted in our restaurant bookings. We cannot wait to come back !! Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
