Organised the yearly family reunion Sunday lunch at Seashells for 17 people and the experience exceeded our expectations. Very good value for money! A vast selection of courses even specialising in cultural main courses such as italian, maltese and indian. Appreciated the sushi too!!! Compared with other places, the price would only cover the main course. The waiters were really...

At 03:15 on 15th Jan last year, I was asleep in my truck in a lay-by on the A168 in North Yorkshire. I was rammed, from behind, by an alleged HGV driver from Yearsley Logistics. I had to give up work on 5th Feb, and am now losing over £600 a week (£16000 since 28th November) and have to suffer...

A friend and I went beginning of March for a week. I have read a lot of the other reviews and some ARE correct but others total tosh! The correct ones: the restaurant is catering for a mass of people..correct. The food accordingly is NOT fine dining, BUT there were always imaginative choices available with fast replenishment. My one suggestion...

Went there for Sunday lunch just to give it a try like everybody does as usually i go to another hotel for lunch. Im telling you this one is the best, mouth watering food, cooked to perfection with a great selection and variety. Last thing i want to mention is the polite, helpful and educated staff. Was just perfect and...

We stayed here for 3 weeks in March. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were just right. We were at the back. Except for a couple of barking dogs it was ideal. Lovely afternoon sun. Nice to sit out on the patio after a hard days traveling around Malta and Gozo. We also went to Sicily for a...

Many thanks for a very encouraging review. So you have made use of our buffet dinners for around 14days - glad you state this was a good idea and the food was good. It sounds like you were having a ball travelling around our island with public buses - they are indeed very practical and with the bus stop right...

We thank you for reviewing our hotel and are glad you found your room clean and the food good. When rooms are available, especially to guests who would have booked either an economy room or a standard room, our front office staff advise guests that there are sea view rooms or suites available. This is much more practical than letting...

We thank you for reviewing our hotel. It is great to read that in spite of your accommodation change, you were satisfied with our rooms and breakfast. We stayed for a week in March, having booked through a tour operator. Arrived at about midnight but check-in was efficient and without problems. We were asked whether we wanted to upgrade to a sea view room (extra cost) and did so, a decision which with hindsight might have been better left until we`d seen the rooms and hotel layout...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Seashells Resort at Suncrest has been a leading 4 star hotel on the Maltese Islands since its very first days and has kept its tradition of hospitality within the AX group throughout the years. We decided that it was time to give the Qawra hotel a face-lift so during the winter months the hotel underwent an extensive renovation programme. Its doors will re-open again on the 1st of April 2015. The new face of the Seashells Resort at Suncrest, your number one resort for individual, corporate and family travel. The property is conveniently located on the Salina to St Paul's Bay Promenade, merely a few minutes' walk away from the National Aquarium. You can make use of the very handy bus stop that is situated just opposite the hotel entrance. Take a left outside the hotel and you will immediately start walking towards all the hustle and bustle of Bugibba and Qawra, the main tourist hub on the island. Take a right and you'll be heading out on to the coast road for a 20 minute drive to St Julian's to enjoy the most popular night life spot in Malta. The hotel is located on the seafront for fantastic views of the Mediterranean and the best sunrise anyone could hope to wake up to. ... more   less
