We arrived late evening. Made our way to the room. My husband flung the door open and I actually stepped backwards! The smell was just vile! So we thought let’s go in and open the doors, get the fan going. My husband went down to the bar for a bit. I wanted to chill. The smell just wouldn’t go away! When he came back I said I couldn’t stay in the room as I was starting to feel very unwell! He went away and came back with a member of staff. Member of staff armed with air freshener! No way that wouldn’t help. Told us we had to wait til morning til the manager was in. I said we would have to find somewhere else and was quite prepared to do so! He gave in and let us have another room! The rooms are really clean. People say they are dirty. I think they are just old and need renovating. The view in the first room was looking over what looked like a building site. The second room looked over the pool. I could not get the smell of that room out my nose the whole time I was there. Even when I was out the hotel. I honestly had to go to a pharmacy and get vick to put under my nose. I can’t comment on the food as I went to breakfast the first morning but everything I tried to eat had that smell! I know it was in my mind and not in the actual dining room but for the 4 days I was there I lived on salt and vinegar Pringles! The entertainment is karaoke which is ok. Was some really good singers but my god it was loud. You can’t have a conversation with the person next to you. I think had we not have had the horrible experience in the first room then I could have enjoyed this hotel. The 4 days we were there the balcony door to that room was open. Someone commented before about the smell in the room. If there is a problem with certain rooms don’t try your luck putting people in it. It really did ruin my whole break!

We have just returned from the BELLA VISTA after spending a lovely relaxing 28days .and after reading some of the comments. I am not sure we have been in the same Hotel. In relation to people complaining about the food there is always a good choice from salads to mains to sweet..the rooms are cleaned every day fresh towels every day .the staff always make you feel welcome. from reception to the dining room always staff we can't thank them enough for making our stay so relaxing under the conditions.

The hotel itself is extremely good, but the Food is awful, the repeats itself every 7 days and I would say is worst I have ever experienced from a hotel and I regularly travel aboard. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past and the food has been brilliant but the last time was 8 years ago. If you like your food do not stay at this hotel.

The rooms were dated and in poor condition. The bathrooms were unclean. The breakfast was poor - no fresh fruit. The gym was in an awful state. There were no toiletries provided in the bathroom and not even a bottle of water provided in the room.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry for your experience but cannot agree about our cleanliness and food. Our food is prepared fresh daily, we buy fresh vegetables from local market and the chicken we buy is corn fed and raised in Burmarrad which is next to our locality. Both breakfast and dinner are served from our hot and cold buffet counter. We always try to do our best to satisfy our customers. our rooms have a fresh look and both room and bathroom are kept clean and sanitized every day during your stay. Should we miss anything all you have to do is call or contact our customer service representative which is located on a desk in front of the reception counter. Our housekeeper would be more than happy to assist you in anything you need. In the bathroom we provide soap and bath gel to be used for hair and body. Here we pride in our service. In the hotel we do not have a Gym but a fitness room which is also kept in order. We provide room service so should you like to order some water we would be more than happy to bring it over. In the hotel we have an Essentials shop which sells all the basic supermarket needs at supermarket prices. For instance 6 bottles water of 1.5ltr each cost just Euro2.40. I hope you enjoyed our free internet and our newly added facility the self-service laundry. We look forward to welcoming you once again.

We booked 12 nights all inclusive at this hotel, arriving late afternoon very tired after a long journey we had to drag our cases up steps inside the hotel, there is no ramp and staff do not assist no matter what your age. Hotel is clean and rooms changed daily by very friendly staff. Food average but we always found something to eat and mostly it was quite nice. For some reason mousse is a desert favourite and is offered every evening in different flavours, we got to like it 😃. We did not enjoy any of the all inclusive alcohol that was available as it is very limited and not great quality. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious overlooking the pool, unfortunately the sun is only on the pool until around 2pm. There is usually karaoke most evenings if you like that sort of thing and occasionally a really good more professional singer entertains. Great bus service directly outside the hotel which will take you to all the great site seeing places, Valletta, golden bay etc just 2euro. Location is a little far out and takes about 15-20 mins to walk into the main square and promenade but worth it when you get there. I would not return to Malta but it was a nice break and very scenic.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am sorry for the 5 stairs at reception but on the right, there is a lift which you can use to avoid dragging the luggage up the stairs. We have a very good choice of dinks in the All-Inclusive menu all kinds of spirits and drinks. For our All-Inclusive guests we also allow 30% discount on all specialty brands. For your convenience we have solarium on the 6th Floor where you can enjoy the sun and the nice views of the National Park opposite the hotel. I hope you enjoyed our free internet and our newly added facility the self-service laundry. We look forward to welcoming you once again.
