The hotel was decent value for money and served the purpose of somewhere for us to base ourselves while we visited stunning Malta. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked questions. The place was also clean and everything was in working order. We marked it as a 3 for a couple of reasons. 1. Extra charges: There are a number of extra charges which we found quite unusual and irritating. To use the hotel gym (which needs a good clean) it costs £3.50 each time and we were charged £7 on one occasion because my partner joined too. It costs £7 to have a sauna and there are even charges for a high chair if you have children. We have stayed in 50+ hotels in recent years and never seen so many extra charges. I’d suggest the hotel does what many others do and sink these costs into the overall price 2. Customer service: Staff were friendly but not proactively friendly or warm. You got the impression that (with the exception of one member) most staff were just stepping in to help out - there is a constant rotation. Having stayed over Christmas it would have been nice for Christmas Day to be marked in some way - even with a Merry Christmas ! On one night there was a fire alarm which went off. When we asked about it we were not offered an apology - perhaps a free gym session would have been a good way of doing so! 3. Maid service: This is provided every 4 days which is definitely too infrequent. The biggest gap I’ve seen in other hotels is 2 days. Coming back to a freshly made bed is one of the joys of hotel stays, so more frequent maid service would be good. Also, we stayed in self catering and no washing up liquid was provided. This should come as standard to help maintain cleanliness. That all said we would stay here again. In the grand scheme of things all the key things were in place.

We had a great stay in an one bedroom apartment. It was very clean and the people at the desk are friendly and helpful. The lady who made us the English breakfast in the morning gets specially a compliment, together with the man who served the breakfast. They gave us a welcome feeling, a great start of the day. You get so much for your money: two swimming pools (in and outdoor) who are maybe a bit small but wonderful, a good bed, a balcony, a spacious apartment and/or room and a 24 hours service at the desk. The location is also very good. In no time you reach many busstops that bring you everywhere on the island but on walking distance there are many nice cafe's and restaurants and of course the sea.

We stayed out the Sunseeker complex The location is ideal Close to the seafront restaurants and bars. The rooms are spotless everything you needed in the kitchen. The rooftop pool area is lovely indoor pool came in handy as the weather wasn’t too good the first week. The hotel is family run and they couldn’t do enough for you they helped us out with the PLF forms. We will definitely stop there again I would recommend it to anyone

We just came back from 8 days vacation at Sunseeker. Lovely appartment with seaview, nice and clean. Friendly people at the reception, breakfast and cleaners, all very helpful and with a smile. Breakfast has enough variation and with a nice view on the sea if you want. The pool was small but cozy and with enough beds. Very centrally located within walking distance from restaurants, bars and shops. Food is good and well priced in Malta, paradise for foodies. Visit Valletta as well, beautiful city to see. If we return we go back to sunseeker Very good price quality for what you book. Would recommend it to anyone!

From the time we checked to the time we left nothing was too much bother. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed, in fact it looked as if no-one had stayed in it previously. The beds were comfy, with just sheets but personally I would have liked a small blanket or throw. There was A/C in both the bedroom and living room, operated separately and easily. We only had breakfast once and we weren’t very impressed with it but we were SC anyway, so got our own. The roof top pool area is lovely but the pool is really only a plunge pool, although it was very welcome. There is also an indoor pool which looked lovely but we wanted the sun! The hotel is in a good position, 2 minutes from the seafront, up a medium sized hill. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the square which is 5-10 walk along the seafront. If I came back to Malta I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
