Neat old hotel in Zahara. Our room had off odors from the plumbing. But our friend's room did not. Very nice town and central to White Hill villages (between Arcos and Rhonda). We stayed for two days and saw everything. Parking is hit and miss, but proprietor can tell you where to park. Free breakfast was good. Very good rates.

Very nice, clean and very friendly staff. The location is perfect in the middle of the small and quiet village, just opposite the two restaurants. Our room had a small balcony, very nice. The breakfast was good too. I definitely would like to come back to Zahara and to this hostel.

This old style building is smack in the middle of the village convenient to all the attractions. The rooms are large and many have balconies on to the street. The entire building is very clean and although the bathrooms are old everything works properly. The friendly owner is very polite and helpful and there are useful maps and posters in...

Great value for money in the very center of an amazing little village with great views. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the place looks like an authentic Spanish villa. Very close to several restaurants.

Very conveniently located at the top of the village in the middle of it all. Mr. Santiago was very helpful in all respects including detailed instructions on how to get to our desired walks. Breakfast was simple but sufficient with excellent coffee. Room was simply furnished but it had comfortable bed.Shower water pressure was just adequate. Free Wi-Fi data connection...

Very helpful host, room was spacious and breakfast just a bit over and above your standard continental. Tiny balcony where you can sit and watch the world go buy, we'd bought a drink from the bar to sit out there. Great.

The hostal was excellent, right beside the town square. The room was very spacious, and bed very comfortable. The host was very nice. There are a couple of tapas bars right next to the hostal. The parking can be done free of charge in the village square, if space is available (the owner checked whether we parked correctly in the...

Our party of four greatly enjoyed a visit to various "white towns" in September. Of all our stops, we most enjoyed the town of Zahara (spectacular setting, less touristy than other towns), and the Marques de Zahara was our # 1 accommodation. Our room was charming and enormous. We enjoyed the balcony looking out to the street and weren't bothered...

Traditional Spanish hotel right on a little plaza with several bars and restaurants. Nothing fancy, but more than adequate, and the owner/manager could not have been nicer. Be aware that a room on the front if the hotel will be noisy until the early morning hours. Cash only.

Its 10 rooms around a andalusian patio are simply furnished in the "Castellano style" with conditioned air, free wifi acces to internet and private bath-rooms. Mornings in our patio you can taste the excepcional oliven oil from the Zahara's surrondings and in the evening the local plates in our dinning room.
