We stayed for 8 nights in February 2013 and whilst warm on the coast it was cold in the village and the smell of wood smoke wafting through the air added a lovely charm to a very pretty village. The B&B has parking outside and is on the edge of a beautiful pine forest. It is the perfect spot for...

We stayed in Jackie & John's village B&B in early December 2012 for a couple of nights. Their directions were fine and we found the B&B without difficulty. Parking outside was no problem. Our room was comfortable on a cold winter day with the rain and mist outside. We found the bed not as comfortable as we would have liked,...

Like many other previous visitors to this fabulous B&B we found Jackie and John to be the most efficient, laid back and friendly hosts. Their help and advice started even before we confirmed our 6 night stay; with flight advice from the UK and the best car hire search site on the internet. This all contributed to a very relaxing...

Many terrific reviews on Tripadvisor have already adequately described this wonderful B&B. John and Jackie are perfect hosts and have made this a great spot from which to explore the marvelous scenery, hiking and pueblos blancos in the area. We spent our first 5 nights in Andalucia here and could have added even more time for additional nearby exploration. The...

The accommodation deserves five stars - beautifully appointed, clean, light and spacious. Jackie and John are marvelous hosts, readily available when you need information and/or advice or just a friendly chat - but not intrusive in the least. El Gastor is a quaint village which offers typical bars and cafes and a range of walks nearby. Not too far away,...

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at El Gastor Village Lodgings B & B. The owners, John & Jackie, could not have been more welcoming & helpful. The house is a gem with well-stocked shelves of books, music & free wifi plus guest laptop should it be required. Our double bedroom with ensuite shower room, small balcony...

The breakfasts were lovely - a really good start to the day- with a selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cheeses, meats, eggs, lovely brown bread etc. Our room was well appointed, spotlessly...

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights here, and had a wonderful time! John and Jackie are the perfect hosts. The B&B has a "homey feel" to it; very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was great, with a nice selection of breads, meat, fruits, yogurt, cereals, juices, coffee, and tea. El Gastor is a charming village, and it is fun...

arrived on a wet and raining May day - the room was comfy and snug, space heaters eliminated any chill while thick duvets lined the beds. Delightfully decorated in our room and the common living/dining room. A well stocked book case provided a useful hiking guide for the Grazalema Sierra ( or if you prefer, Spanish phrase books were available)....

Friendly, relaxed, family run bed & breakfast in the beautiful white village (pueblo blanco) of El Gastor in the heart of rural Andalucia, southern Spain. The perfect base for you to enjoy the stunning scenery of the nearby Grazalema Natural Park, the Serrania de Ronda and the Sierra de las Nieves. Also centrally located to enjoy sightseeing in the great Andalucian cities of Ronda, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville, Granada, Cordoba and, one of our personal favourites, the little known Osuna.
