My daughter and I stayed at The Georgian Terrace in Atlanta for a cheer competition (2/18/22-2/20/22), and we did not feel welcome. I wouldn't have chosen an upscale hotel for such a casual event, but we were in a bind and had to select from the hotel list provided by the venue. If they don't want casual people in their hotel, they should remove themselves from the venue's listing. We paid the rates, just like anyone else, nearly $1000 for 2 nights after taxes, parking and hotel fees, we should've been treated the same. I have never in my life felt like a live version of Pretty Woman, until my stay at this property. I'm sorry that my daughter had to witness the ugly attitude of the gentleman behind the counter.
This hotel is all about location, so many places and restaurants that are walking distance. Stayed 2 nights and my only negative was that I didn’t see anything that said housekeeping was by request only until it was too late so we did get fresh towels. I feel this should have been told to us at the front desk.
My friend and I came in to town for 2days only, finding the Georgian Terrace Hotel was exactly what we needed. Once we arrived Jada ensured our check in went smoothly and she was very pleasant. The hotel’s aesthetics, ambience and decor was simply beautiful, perfect for the holiday season. The room was spacious and just what we needed for our quick girls trip. The Georgian is definitely going on my list of places to return to. Toya
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to The Fox Theatre and we were so glad we did. Not only was it literally across the street from the theatre, but the staff were so kind and welcoming, the building was gorgeous inside and out, everything was clean, and our room was amazing. I will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Atlanta!
We are so glad we stayed in this hotel while seeing the premiere of The Chosen Season 3. There were momentary sightings and interactions with the actors that were priceless. The employees at the front desk were great. We were able to stay in a 3-room suite for this girls trip and everything was perfect.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. My experience was indelibly a 'home away from home' experience. My time there for work certainly helped make the load lighter. I would definitely recommend highly to others.
I am very disappointed with my stay at the Georgian Terrace. This hotel was referred to me by a work colleague since I was taking my family to the B52s farewell concert across the street at the Fox Theatre. We were also celebrating a few birthdays during the same week so we were very excited. The B52s concert was postponed so I would have to return to Atlanta. However, I do not see myself staying at this Hotel and it is definitely not a "luxury" hotel as advertised. Not because of the staff but because of the obvious corporate neglect in not hiring enough staff or providing the resources to keep the Hotel in the proper condition for its guests. The staff was great and as helpful as they could be, and it was obvious to me that they were trying their best but there were not enough staff working the hotel. As a result, we had the following issues: 1. The electronic key / access panel came off the door; 2. The towel hanger in the bathroom came off the wall; 3. The microwave had no handle so it would not close and we could not use it even though we reserved a full kitchen suite; 4. The floor panels in the kitchen were coming off which is an obvious safety issue; 5. The thermostat came off the wall; 6. The air conditioning would not shut off from 69 degrees even though it was in the 30's outside; 7. No one came to clean our room until the day before we left; 8. We could not get bath soap replaced 9. Lightbulbs were burning out in each room; 10. There was dirt along the windows; 11. No one would answer the phone for housekeeping; 12. We had to call the front desk to get bath soap and they gave us hand soap because that is all they had; 13. The room had roaches. 14. The hot water went out mid shower. 15. The ice machine were not functioning on various floors, and we had to travel up and down to find ones that worked. I felt bad having to go downstairs for each and every issue so I decided it wasn't worth it. For the amount of money that I paid for 4 nights, I will probably go to one of your competitors if I return to Atlanta. …
The concierge, Donny was so nice and a joy!! His smile lights up the room! The room was huge, bed comfy, and window view was excellent!! The Livingston restaurant had great food as well!! We will be coming back! Thank you GeorgianTerrace for a wonderful stay!!!
We totally enjoyed our stay here and would stay again given the chance. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and welcoming to come back to. The view from the 17th floor was OK, since its just looking down at rooftops, but that is what you get in a downtown hotel. Courteous, attentive, friendly, all the qualities that you want in an upscale hotel were here in large doses.
Our family had two rooms booked but they ended up being on different floors. Aneria worked hard to find us rooms on the same floor. When we got upstairs to our rooms and our girls saw how far apart they were, they said they were uncomfortable with us being that far apart. My husband went back down to the the check-in desk and Aneria worked on finding us rooms closer. She was so lovely and accommodating of our family’s needs. The hotel was beautiful and the food was SO good, but Aneria is who we will remember the most from this trip!
