We booked the Garden Room that had a loft perfect for our teenaged son (he loved it). Even though our visit to Atlanta was very short, I wish we could have stayed longer at Sugar Magnolia to explore every relaxing nook and cranny. The location was in perfect proximity to Variety Playhouse for a concert we drove in to see....

My sister and I were visiting her two daughters in Atlanta. Debi, the owner greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the house to our room, The Aviary. We enjoyed three great breakfasts where Kathryn was able to graciously accommodate my sister's need for gluten and lactose free meals. We will most definitely be back.

I don't enjoy giving below-average reviews, but I would recommend looking for some other place if you're staying in Atlanta. This place felt like the owners were disengaged after running it for 20 years. The room was ok and had a fireplace, but the bed was really old and uncomfortable, and the whole inn needed a major cleaning. Breakfast was...

We are also disappointed that you did not enjoy your one night with us - and a bit perplexed. We enjoyed having you stay with us, as we do all our guests. The Garden Room is one of our most popular rooms and we actually get very frequent comments about how comfortable the pillow top mattress is (it is not...

Got engaged in Atlanta and spent the weekend at this establishment. It was fantastic. Kathryn was incredible going out of her way to ensure that someone was there to receive flowers and balloons and to arrange them. She was fantastic host and the environment was warm and cozy even on a cold weekend. Would recommend anyone wanting a get away...

My wife Mia and I stayed in the Garden Room & absolutely loved it! So cozy & romantic with the fireplace! Josie was an awesome host and we loved hearing her stories and seeing her Cadillac! She also recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner (Wisteria) just down the street on Highland Ave. Kathryn prepared amazing breakfasts and was very warm...

This is the best hotel experience I've had in a long time. A really great bed and breakfast, with fabulous service and people. Close to MARTA station, which was critical for me. Ready access to downtown. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet, safe. Had two great dinners in the area, and even got my hair cut while in town. Very,...

What a fantastic stay in Atlanta on MLK weekend. We arrived Saturday evening and were greeted by Josie. What a fantastic lady who is energetic and cares about the guest who stay at the bed and breakfast. She asked us if we needed anything and took care of the cottage we stayed in everyday. Kathryn the innkeeper made fantastic breakfast...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Sugar Magnolia in the Royal Suite room for five days. Not only is the house beautiful and conveniently located, but the Royal Suite was a great room with an amazing sunken jacuzzi tub. The bed is nothing short of magnificent--like sleeping on a cloud. Kathryn was personable, helpful and a superb cook. We...

Great location, incredible house, excellent service... say no more. Just book it and enjoy it, no need to think twice. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Catherine's breakfasts hit the spot while Jim and Debi are the perfect hosts.

My stay at Sugar Magnolia was perfect. Jim and Debi made me feel very welcomed in their home. They made a wonderful breakfast for the people staying at the B&B. My room was picturesque and beautiful and you cannot beat the location. I would highly recommend staying at this B&B. Thank you for your hospitality.
