Mitch made me the best drink- the Love Below- and made my night so much more calming and relaxing! I recommend wholeheartedly! The hotel is beautiful and the decor and ambience is tremendous. Definitely was worth it!
Stayed at this hotel two nights for a wedding that my family and I were attending. This hotel is great. David, one of the bellman, is fantastic. Everyone from check-in to check-out were very friendly. Lobby has such a chic design to it. Rooms were very clean; beds very comfortable. Service from the workers (either housekeeping to bring towels up or maintenance coming up due to batteries dying in our smoke alarm) were exceptionally quick. We had a Double Queen room on the 26th floor, view was very nice facing both midtown and downtown in the distance. We traveled from NJ; this was our first time in Atlanta. Midtown is such a great area, not in the hustle and bustle but close enough to attractions. We will be back in the future and we will choose this hotel again. What a great experience!…
Typically, I stay with the Marriott but wanted to give Hilton hotels a try for my anniversary. After giving the hotel a heads up on what we were celebrating, I was told they’d provide us with complementary champagne. I purchased one of the sky rooms on the 26th floor. We arrive to a small, dark room and no champagne. No efforts toward presentation whatsoever. The wallpaper appeared to be water-damaged, and the grab bar to our shower was loose. Only thing particularly nice about the room was the view. I inquired about the champagne 5-6 times before they finally brought it to our room 4 hours later. The hotel entrance from the parking garage was broken and so we had to walk through the parking garage and outside to the front of the hotel in order to get back in, which is dangerous because of there being so many cars. Upon leaving, I felt as if I had been robbed after spending so much money to stay in what felt more like a 3-star hotel due to their poor accommodations and hotel maintenance.…
Great hotel. Front desk was helpful. Then went to the bar and find out that Mitch lived where I live! In Southern California. What are the chances! Small world. Great Old Fahioneds - hard to find one I like but I love the two rye ones I’ve had here. Would stay again especially with the Southern California connection!
The bar here id top-notch. Mitch absolutely exceeded expectations! The service was incredible, everyone was friendly and once again, the drinks had such an amazing vibrancy! VISIT! Everything you need in aesthetics and beyond
Fantastic hotel with more than friendly staff. Ask for Dervin at check in. Ask for God Father Mitch, Kibe, Wendy, Savonya and David for food and drinks. Everyone is great!!!! You will enjoy your stay here and the live jazz on Monday, Wednesday and Friday!!! Tell them Darian sent you.
To start you can't even find the name of the hotel, it was the old W and your uber or taxi will get confuse as the building lacks a sign with the name Starling. Once you enter you are greeted by terrible attitudes from 90% of the staff. They are miserable and unhappy, you can tell management is awful and employee morale is on the floor. NOBODY smiles, NOBODY- Arrived at 2am after a long delayed flight, unfortunately my reservation was not found and I had to pay a rate of $494 for an dated room with 2 beds, filthy carpet, bathroom with curtain... Felt like a 3 star if that. In the morning, I went for breakfast which I bet a 2 star hotel has better service or offerings. The Latte was awful, the breakfast was not edible, it was so disappointing and surprising that a hotel that is supposed to be one of the best in Midtown doesn't have a wonderful Food & Beverage offering. Went to the front desk to advise them of my disappointing experience and the front desk agent tells me to go up again to the dining area and speak to the chef.... total waste of time! and if that wasn't enough, I called to request a 30 minute delay on my check out time considering I arrived at 2am and I was denied the time unless I paid $100- Its mind-blowing how staff can RUIN a guest experience. TERRIBLE experience to say the least.…
1 week stay from work. Great service, very clean and tidy, as you would expect but also, a great atmosphere in the evenings, relaxed, lively friendly. Weekends in more lovely and lovely. Lucky to stay over the weekend
Great hotel Mitch the bartender was great, very friendly and took care of our party who was in town for the jazz awards, lots of our family. The manager was very slow my fam says Mitch needs to give him lessons. Kudos Mitch for being friendly and taking care of us.
I’ll be sure to write a second review after I’ve stayed at the hotel for a work conference but I needed to spend 1 minute to hail praises to the exceptional service with a reservationist named Shaquanna on the phone. She was clearly and eloquently spoken, very sure of what she was doing and what I was asking of her and she did her job cheerfully and quickly. May all reservationists be so perfect. This hotel is lucky to have her.
