Tried to book for NFL AFC PLayoffs Game IF KC wins and Buffalo wins but we would not know until after this weekends games. We were wanting to book the President's Suite as a Marriott Bonvoy Member for $1500. We were told cancellation policy is 24 hours. We would have to cancel by 1/19 to not lose $1500. What a joke! Not worth taking the gamble.
This is a very nice hotel in mid-town Atlanta. The staff was great. Awesome from the valet, to the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the cleaning staff. The morning staff at the restaurant deserves a special call out. The hostess (lady from South Africa) was extremely friendly and cheery. The wait staff was also very friendly and helpful. Another shout out to the valet. Very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again
This hotel is a hidden gem. I was in town for the College Football Playoff and decided to give this hotel a shot. As a Titanium member I was upgraded to a Jr Suite, which was extremely modern and in perfect condition. The front desk staff was amazing and accommodating. The hotel is in the heart of Midtown and is connected to the Google office space. The restaurants are solid choices as well on property. Great hotel and great experience.
Recently spent a night at the new-ish Epicurean Hotel in Midtown Atlanta. When you walk in, it looks like you are in a restaurant (hence the theme), but it is not clear that the front desk is what looks like a host stand in a restaurant. As I struggled to figure out where to go to check-in (there was no one at the desk), two hotel employees stood and continued their chat instead of helping me. This would be a theme of the stay -- the service was bad. I stayed in a junior suite on the 14th floor. The room was great -- large with lots of useful and stylish furniture. We had two TVs and a large living room space plus a nice high top glass desk. The bathroom was a bit plain, but did the job. The wifi was extremely fast and I would have no issues staying in this room for several nights. We called down to the front desk for an extra blanket (there was not one in the room) and some coffee mugs (they were also missing). An hour later, we called again since they were not delivered as promised. Finally, another 30 minuets later, housekeeping showed up with a blanket and extra coffee (which we did not request), but no mugs. You are basically on your own at this hotel -- don't expect any service at all. Breakfast the next morning was more of the same. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come to our table even though employees constantly walked past us. The breakfast menu isn't great especially for a hotel with an epicurean theme. Even with the bulk of the breakfast cost being covered by a voucher because of my status, I would go elsewhere in the future for food. Would I stay here again? For the right price, yes. It is basically a four star level property being dragged down by poor service. Hopefully they will start taking service more seriously.…
This is an excellent hotel for so many reasons. Well-located, the room I had was spacious and clean. It was a corner king on the 15th floor and super quiet and comfortable, with a lot of space to work and relax. The service was excellent as well. There is a Whole Foods across the street for quick meals and snacks. Will definitely stay here again when back in Atlanta.
We have stayed here twice this month. First time there were small issues with the room. They said maintenance would come up. They did not say when as he handles 3 different properties. So wonderful Montelle moved us to a different room with different small issues. He made up for it in the second trip and the junior suite had no issues! Yay! Loved Mindy’s sweet smile at the hostess podium and Angie’s great breakfast service. Their continental breakfast is huge! And they make their own jam. Valets are very good too.
First day , experienced problems with Ac making noise. It was fixed. Room was ok but overpriced for size and quality of experience. Workout room was subpar, again for the money , should have been nicer. Did not like the checkin experience. I am a loyal lifetime titanium elite and always looking for a quality visit from Marriott. Did not get that here. Valet lost my keys one evening and had to take Uber to dinner. The hotel did reimburse but should not have happened. There are better Marriot hotels in Atlanta. This one is trendy and overhyped. Even the toilet paper was like tissue paper and horrible water pressure all 4 days we were there. Avoid Epicurean.
Genevieve at the front desk was excellent at resolving an issue for us. Valet and housekeeping also provided top-notch, excellent service. Nicely designed rooms. Do not recommend staying on floor 10 - too loud with corporate conferences going on.
Nice hotel in a convenient downtown location. Hotel was nice but a little too fancy for my taste. Nice bar/restaurant when you walk in the front door that seemed to stay very busy. Complimentary beverage given at check-in.
This hotel is now my new favorite place! The location is perfect - walking distance to Whole Foods and some great restaurants. The staff and their hospitality was unparalleled! Genevieve (not sure if I spelled it correctly) helped checked me in when I arrived and help to take care of my laundry needs. Their welcome drink is a nice touch. The room was clean and spacious. The offerings for the mini bar were superb! The food we had during the week for each business meeting was so yummy! I would go back again and again to this place. The pool area was nice and clean, looked fun to try out during a warm month. Each staff member was more than helpful and always gracious. Put this on your list of places to stay!
