DO NOT BOOK HERE! We had a reservation and arrived late in the night at the hotel to a closed door. The night receptionist Mr. Evan did not let us in and said the Hotel is already fully booked! The doors stay closed during night as the area is super dangerous and people get robbed at least 2x times a week in front of the Hotel! So knowing how dangerous it is for us to stay outside… he even refused to give us the WiFi password, so we can get an Uber to a different Hotel. I tried to explain him one more time that I have a reservation and he can’t just leave us on the streets at 3:00 am and he CALLED THE POLICE on us!! The police men then asked him what he should do… and all he said was:” I don’t care! Take them wherever they came from! This was the most inhuman experience I ever had in my entire life! I got an apology from the hotel about the staff member, but no apology or explanation WHY we got left on the streets and why the had no room for us! They also refused to compensate us for our expenses! WORST Hotel I have ever experienced!!…
Well, it is an older style hotel, hallways are very narrow. Elevators are rather small and run slowly, however they do run! room could have been cleaner, the bed was a bit worn. The wifi worked well. The lounge/ bar was okay. I found the food about average. Service was a bit slow. Breakfast was okay. Checkin was good as was checkout. Staff are good, they help where they can. Hotel just needs a lot of TLC. It is a short drive to the airport.
First time visiting hotel in Atlanta, booked only available IHG hotel at the Airport. After dinner we were pleasantly delighted by the bar at the hotel. Anthony W. Went above and beyond for my team at IHG.
Front desk clerk Kalyla was one of the most courteous desk clerks I’ve ever encountered. She was professional and extremely patient as there were some things I did not know. For instance, I shared a room with someone. Didn’t know I had to use just my card as I had reserved the room. I expected my roommate to be able to use her card. When she arrived, she had cash! We were able to work it out, and Kalyla was reassuring and again, VERY patient!!
Crystal was very helpful at check in. Room is in good condition and clean. Excited to have a bar and restaurant on site as I’m traveling alone this trip. I’m thankful for the 24 hour airport shuttle, as I have an early flight.
Booked our last two nights here as it was handy for our flight back to the UK . Primarily Booked this location as it had a swimming pool for our son and we could use the guest laundry prior to our departure. We booked online for quite a decent price ...As with other hotels we have booked throughout our travels we always checked the taxes were added on to the final price before confirming our booking , now , we did this here only to be stumped with the added tax after confirming...We immediately tried to cancel and were informed we would still have to pay full price for one night as this was part of their cancellation policy. So we got there , and low and behold the pool that was quite clearly stated as open was in fact empty and full of leaves , now this begs the question as to why this wasn't stated online as it had clearly been empty for some time...We would never have booked here if we had known this...Anyway we decided to eat in the Hotel " Restaurant " 1st night as we hadn't long arrived and were hungry , we sat down , decided what we wanted and were then told by the waitress that half the stuff on the menu wasn't available due to delivery issues , we eventually went to the Mexican restaurant across the road which was superb. We had booked a suite for two days , they sent us to the wrong room , bed was unmade and sofa bed was still out , we went downstairs to be informed they had sent us to the wrong room , got to the new room and it was basically battered , scrapes on the wall , dented furniture , dirty carpets and overall a tired and dreary room that was in dire need of a makeover...The lift was battered and wasn't swept out in the two days we were there , stains on the inside of the door and basically looked like a goods lift..On the second night we thought we would try the " Restaurant" and see if they had a better selection available...It was awful...The Potato Skins were cold , the Philly Cheese Steaks were awful and looked and tasted liked they had been microwaved....We had been travelling for two weeks and had stayed in numerous different hotels, motels , including a few Holiday Inns and they were all in a different league to this , this was by far the worst Hotel we have stayed in for years , oh I almost forgot , the two days pre paid breakfast for the 3 of us miraculously turned into only for 2 people on the second day...Shambles of a place.…
The food was great and service was even better. Letty Banh is a great waitress and is very attentive. The hotel is an older hotel but is still in good condition. All of the staff that we interacted with was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel clearly shows signs of wear and tear. I had stayed here 5 years ago when it was at it's shiniest moment. It requires a facelift urgently. The carpets are badly stained and generally dirty (this is common on any mid class hotel in the US). My room (474) door was difficult to open and close, presenting a serious security issue. After notifying the front desk and waiting by the room for maintenance to arrive for 30 mins, I then again tried opening it with great force and finally succeeded. The location of this hotel presented a safety challenge every day as I walked to restaurants and shops around the area. I nearly got robbed and was challenged by a local individual once when walking to dinner one night. I would not walk alone around this area again. The one good experience I had was at breakfast, the great attention and service from Laura made the difference for the rest of my stay. Her hospitality and great personality put a smile on my phase as I walked out of the hotel every morning. …
So I stayed in this hotel for 20 days. Didn’t get any new towels also didn’t have my roomed cleaned in the first two weeks. My first room the a/c didn’t work. I also had some friends in the corners of my ceiling aka spiders. The refrigerator was to big to fit into the slot. I was missing my plate for the microwave. The walls are so thin someone else alarm woke me up. The breakfast isn’t free it cost 15 dollars. Two other hotels do free breakfast. One does free drinks on Wednesday and the other does free drinks every night
The facility was ld but clean. Friendly and generous front desk staff members. Crystal R from the front desk helped us check in last night and she was awesome! She was ery friendly and helpful. We also had the chance to work out at the gym and it was pretty big. But still very run down.
