Management lies. unfriendly, lazy, holds food hostage so they can eat. Told me they were going to charge a late check out fee and it was only 12:05. It wasn't even my check out day!!!!!! Was there for a medical procedure at nearby hospital and needed to rest. they wouldn't bring up one extra pillow. Said there was only one person at desk. when I got down there, it was three.

No Complaints. It’s a Hampton Inn. Everything was good no complaints. Its nothing fancy. The location is perfect for the Hospitals in the area along with being able to get to see the Braves At Truist Park. (Go Braves!) Downtown Atlanta is a straight shot down GA 400. Only thing I had an issue with was doing the online checkin. There’s no mention of needing a parking pass. I only learned about this when I asked for a room key in lieu of using the app.

WOULD RATE NEG 10 IF I COULD...RUN DO NOT STAY HORRIBLE INN AND WORSE MANAGEMENT! RUN DONT WALK.... THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THE HOTEL IS VERY OUTDATED AND FURNITURE FALLING APART AND ROOMS & HOTEL IS DIRTY AND NOT CLEANED AT ALL WELL. BEDS ARE VERY UNCOMPTABLE AND HORRIBLE TO SLEEP IN{MATTRESS IN BUNKBEDS ARE BETTER) BREAKFAST VERY LITTLE TO CHOOSE FROM AND HORRIBLE, 1ST NIGHT TOILET OVERFLOWED ALL OVER TO HALL AREA HAD FECES ALL OVER CONTACTED FRONT DEST SENT SOMEONE UP TO UNCLOG TOILET AND GAVE US SEVERAL TOWELS AND TRASH BAG TO CLEAN UP OURSELSELVES, DID NOT GIVE US ANYTHING TO SANITIZE TO CLEAN TOILET OR FLOOR OR NEW TOWELS....COULD NOT EVEN SHOWER WHILE THERE FOR 3 NIGHTS. NEXT MORNING AGAIN ADVISED STATED WOULD BE DONE NEVER GOT DONE AFTER ANOTHER LONG BUSINESS DAY STILL NOT CLEANED FINALLY LAST NIGHT ROOM STILL NOT CLEANED AGAIN WENT TO MANAGEMENT STATED WILL GET DONE AFTER 6 PM AT NIGHT THEY MADE US ALL LEAVE ROOM TO CLEAN TOOK OVER 30 MINS STILL NOT CLEANED WELL AT ALL. I hate to write bad reviews!!! Doing this for fellow travelers .... Desperately needs renovation to begin with... I was in town for a medical procedure. Got back to the hotel and was recovering from anesthesia. Had a do not disturb sign on the door . Very very loud knocking and yelling at 5 PM. A male stating he needed to get in to "update the internet on the tv." I told him it was not a good time. Called down to the desk and they said I should have been informed on checkin that someone might be coming around.... Check out is 12 noon. The next morning both housekeeping and the maintenance man were knocking at 11 AM. Would not recommend.

There were some things I didn’t like about my room/stay. A lot of little hairs in the bathroom. Crumbs and a dirty paper towel on and near the ottoman like someone had just eaten here. There was a sign that the water will be off from 9am-4pm for two days in a row. Glad only one day falls on our stay. Still we should have been notified via email and not surprised as we are checking on to the hotel. The pool was closed but not noted on the booking website. Very dirty light switches and lamp bases. The good thing is the lobby has disinfecting wipes so I used those to clean most surfaces. Wish there was one on every floor. They do not clean rooms daily or bring fresh towels. You have to leave your used towels in front of the door and go to the desk to request fresh ones. Wifi is patchy. There is a Publix grocery store nearby as well as a few places to eat. The Publix was nice to grab water and subs for our first day. They will also have travel size items if any are needed. Thought there were stains in the bed but seems to only be thinning spots. The sheets did smell like they could have been freshly changed. If you aren’t too picky this is actually a decent place to stay. 30 minute walk or 10 minute drive to the mall and Dunwoody train station that takes you straight to the airport. Overall considering the price we paid and proximity to perimeter mall (and a few other places) I would give my stay a 3.5. If the pool was open and the water didn’t go out I would’ve rated a 4.

Stayed at this hotel April 21 - 23rd. Early check-in was requested at booking. After a four hour drive we arrived at the hotel before check-in. The man at the front desk stated that the option to check in early was not available and there was no changing that. We left and received a notification that our room was ready EVEN THOUGH the person at the front desk stated early check-in was not an option. After receiving the notification, I called the hotel and got the same person who said there must have been a mistake. Finally after hours of waiting around we arrive at the hotel and the internet was down. Which seemed to be the issue the whole time!! Key cards were not able to be activated and hotel staff had to escort everyone to their respective rooms. A line of people were waiting to check in and after we entered our information we were escorted to a room where two ladies were exiting. The women were given the same hotel room as us, as we were waiting to get that situated a couple gets off the elevator and stated they were assigned the same room. This happened twice before we finally got a room that was ours! If you want breakfast you better get up and get it. They started shutting it down 15 minutes before scheduled time. All in all the stay was pretty good. The rooms were nice and everything was centrally located to shopping and restaurants. The evening hotel staff was very nice. It was just frustrating to spend over 8 hours waiting for a room to arrive to all that we experienced.

The check-in, we were told that we basically made their job hard... oh, and we don't do room service, come down here to get your towels, etc. Then the real problem... they're so God damn lazy, they would open the pool for 5 DAYS IN A ROW because they dint want to wash towels. It was 99°.... Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else!!!

Stayed for two nights for a business trip. Hotel is dark and gloomy upon arrival. The rooms havent been updated in several cycles. Carpet is old and dated, walls are dirty beige colors instead of the updated hampton inn white/grey. The furniture has chips, scratches and in some spots chunks of wood missing. The only good part here is that the bed was comfy and the sheets seems clean. otherwise i would have moved hotels.

We were supposed to stay for a week, but checked out after the first night. Upon arrival at 5p (check in starts at 4p), we found a lobby full of waiting guests and were told that rooms were not ready yet. 2 hours later, we were finally checked in - at 7pm! The lobby still had at least 4 more families still waiting. The staff offered a measly "sorry for the wait" but that was about it. No one was offered water or anything to drink, nothing to eat, etc while we waited for hours. In fact, one of the staff began complaining to her co-worker that she was going to quit the evening shift because she's tired of the guests being impatient and not understanding. Like WE were the problem. Hilton members who had used the app to check in were no exception. Still had to wait like everyone else. And nothing offered as compensation. When we finally did get to our room, it was pretty bad. The hotel is old and outdated, with stained carpet throughout the hallways, chipped furniture, dirty A/C units and gross bathrooms. Our room had a very strong, pungent smell of pinesol, lysol, and mold/mildew. It was so strong that both of us in the room got headaches after about an hour. Mine turned into a migraine. By morning, I was also stuffy and congested, mist likely from the mold they are obviously trying to mask with this disinfectant smell. Because we got into our room so late and many hotels in the area were unavailable, we stayed this first night but I had already booked another hotel for the rest of the week and we left by 7am. I went to the front desk to check out but no one was there & we had somewhere to be in the morning so I couldn't wait around. I decided I'd check out on the app and we left. The app wouldn't allow the check out since we were leaving 6 days early, so I tried calling the front desk. It went to voicemail so I left a message with my name, room number and the reasons we were checking out. I called 2 additional times that morning, both went to voicemail. After not hearing from anyone, I began dealing with Hilton customer service. It took Hilton 2 additional DAYS to reach someone and after leaving on Sunday, I finally received a receipt on Tuesday evening showing I had checked out 2 days prior. Still never heard from a live person from the hotel. This was an awful experience. We were there for 12 hours and were miserable every second of it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

The Hampton Hilton Inn located at 769 Hammond St, first needs to train its Front Desk staff as it pertains processes and procedures for check-out, in particular, when a guest requests to split payments against to valid employer-issued and personal credit cards. Also, please do not avoid emails and telephone communications to resolve a matter so important has payment. All businesses have to be accountable to auditors. As a Hilton Honors account holder, this was not a good experience. I would not choose this Hampton Inn location for future business or personal stay.
