We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. So good we didn't want to leave. Fabulous accommodation: clean, comfortable, traditional and full of character. Jean Pierre and Marie Carmen are perfect hosts and very keen to ensure that their guests get the best out of their visit to the town and surrounding areas. Close to local shops and bars...

Hostal San Juan is a delight. The owners have combined traditional Moorish architecture with modern facilities to create a comfortable, atmospheric experience for travellers. Our rooms were small but fully air conditioned, well appointed and very clean. They opened up onto a foyer filled with fountains and flowers. Moorish tiles and mirrors adorn the walls, cool terracotta tiles on floors,...

We had a lovely stay in this pretty, well-appointed Hostal. It gave us a real Andalucian feel, was very nicely decorated with quality materials, very clean and ideally located to enjoy beautiful Salobreña. We'll definitely come back and would strongly recommend it. Thank you.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable one night stay last night at this beautiful hostal. The exterior itself is lovely and then inside is a gorgeous inner courtyard, very tranquil and filled with plants. Our room was large, spotless and comfortable with a lovely tiled bathroom and a small Juliet balcony. The Hostal is a pleasant 15 mins walk...

Stayed here in June and not only was the place beautiful but the owners Jean Pierre, his wife and dog Titan, were so warm, welcoming and helpful, I feel compelled to write this review. The place is well placed for the centre but in a quiet residential quarter, not far from the old town too. AND on top of all...

We spent our last day of our holiday staying at this perfect place. As soon as we arrived we received a warm welcome and the owners were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is just beautiful and reminded us of places we had stayed in Morroco. Each room is named after a town in Andalusia. We had a family room...

Tucked away in the backstreets of Salobrena, but close to restaurants and beaches, This charming hotel ticks all the boxes. Beautifully presented, it reflects the care of the owners and their dog Titan! Not really suitable for children as the hosts are keen to ensure a quiet ambience, but great for adults. Its no surprise that many of thier clients...

This is a delightful Hostal. Quiet and peaceful but so close to restaurants, bars and shops. The beach is only 12/15 minutes walk. Jean Pierre and Mari Carmen are excellent hosts and made us very welcome. They were very helpful with advice and suggestions on where to go, places to see, etc. Our room was very well appointed, a good...

This hostal is in a quiet backstreet in Salobrena but close to shops etc. and with close access to the hill to the old town and historic moorish castle. The proprietor and his wife are extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in an open courtyard sort of area. Only continental breakfast is available...
