This modern building is located above the town of Cudillero in an area that has been allocated for new development. There is no building underway at the moment but all the road infrastructure is in place. The decor is very old-fashioned, but the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly. Set quite a way from the town this is a quite hotel with an excellent restaurant. The staff were very friendly and as the hotel lacks a lift they carried out cases to our very large room The bathroom was old fashioned in a nice way. I can't put into words this memories of opening a window in the morning and seeing the sea under the sun and the sound of waves like breaking on my hands.. Wonderful. We stopped here for two nights. The hotel decoration might not be to everybodies taste but our room was very comfortable, the place was spotless and all the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Not quite sure about the building`s architecture but this is a very good hotel and the staff/owners were absolutely charming. Relatively good access for such a small fishing town and with an easy walk down to the harbour (tough on the way up though). Stayed here 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Hotel is spotless and our bedroom was beautiful. We decided to eat both nights at the hotel as the food was absolutely fantastic. The El Pescador is really a fine restaurant with very comfortable en suite bedrooms. The whole place is immaculate, the service friendly and professional. El Pescador is a small family run hotel located a km or two outside of the port area of Cudillero. Found on the off-chance - persevere through the building site. My wife loved the rooms. Then we had a superb set menu - fish is a speciality. Residents get a special menu. Lovely breakfast as well. what a find,i would reccomend anyway who is travelling towards santiago compestela,to make a slight detour and stop a night here. small but delightful so much thought have gone into the decoration of these rooms and the food would match any high class restaurant,perfect.
