We so enjoyed our stay at Far View and highly recommend the property to others. We had a second floor room and our views of sunsets and across the fields, mesas and canyons was stunning! We could see Ship Rock...some 40-miles way in New Mexico! The room was well appointed and comfortable and close to Park activities and ancient sites....

Cabins quite basic, but recently upgraded. Nice private balcony. Walls very thin however, so just hope you don't get a noisy neighbour! Quite good good options locally with either a good restaurant or a cafeteria. The mesa verde ancient pueblos are amazing and definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

Beautiful views and sunrises/sets. Lovely clear skies for stars at night. Elk by the breakfast room. Rooms are basic, with balconies to sit out and look at the scenery. Two options for eating - bar and restaurant. The restaurant prefers booking, and was full by the time we arrived, so book in advance if required!

We enjoyed our stay at Mesa Verde in late September. After our somewhat snowy drive into the park, the weather during the two days we spent there was quite pleasant. However in the evening the cloud cover obscured the stars. So alas - not stargazing for us. Hopefully next time. Our room was rustic as one would expect. it was...

Incredible 15 mile drive of beautiful vistas to the lodge which is located inside the Mesa Verde National Park. Lovely concept -- a large central dining facility with clusters of cabins with small decks situated around the mountain top providing nice view of the mountains and valley. The southwest style room had comfy beds, hardwood floors, and individual cooling units....

Rooms were clean and comfortable, but you could hear everything (cough, cough, snore, snore, sneeze, sneeze, talk, talk, flush, flush) in the adjacent rooms. Fortunately, the rooms do not have televisions or radios and our neighbors did not stay up all night. No other options unless you camp or drive a heck of a long way every day.

Our room was in the front on the end of the unit so we got very little light pollution from the other rooms. I was able to see and photograph (picture coming later) a lot of stars! It does get windy and the rooms get kind of loud from the wind noise, but I still got a good night's sleep....

This was a rustic lodge at the top of Mesa Verde National Park. Had a beautiful scenic view of the mountains. Sunrise and sunset were beautiful. Lodge was ready to close for the season, but accommodations were great. Breakfast and dinner were great,

So beautiful: the view and the accommodations. The unit we stayed in was freshly remodeled: clean, solid and very nicely done. There is shampoo, lotion, conditioner and soap at the sink and in the shower in nice pump bottles that stay clean and avoid the mess from a bar of soap and the waste associated with individual mini bottles. The...

Good to stay inside the park. Short walk to the bus tour. Recommended if you have the time. Convenient drive to Long House Tour. The view was great. Deer grazing in the morning. Rooms are not large or well appointed. The private balcony is a plus.
