Our stay at Aiguaclara was amazing. We stayed here for 4 nights in July and by the lovely welome from Clara and Joan we knew this was going to be be a fantastic hotel. The decor is beautiful with fantastic attention to detail. We stayed in room 8 which had a lovely view, bright with a great powerful shower. The...

This is a geogeous 10 room hotel in the centre of a beautiful village. The hotel has been converted from an old building and so it features stone floors, high ceilings and lots of natural light. The decor mixes traditonal Catalan with a modern design plus good room facilities such as air con, funky CD player, TV, DVD and a...

I've not ever bothered to write one of these reviews, but there's no better place to start than Aiguaclara. It's a small but fantastic hotel in a beautifully converted old building. Unlike most websites with fancy graphics and carefully taken photos which don't tell the whole truth, the rooms are actually better in reality than the pictures on the quite...

Very nice and friendly welcoming by the manager. The hotel is simple but the room was very unique, nice and clean. And with lot of space! The feeling is that all the guests are a family... sharing the patio and the bar. Nice breakfast and modern art on the walls. Just a few steps away from all the restaurants, shops...

We had the most wonderfull time. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and helpfull and made us feel like home. They have a good eye for details, like soft big towels in the bathroom, a very good breakfast, fresh juice, excellent coffee. The rooms are beautiful, everything is just the most romantic!

If you are in or around Begur the Aiguaclara offers an experience which you will remember for a long time. We had a suite overlooking the village square with the castle lit up on the hill above us....from its massive balcony we were able to survey our surroundings and enjoy the start of our holiday. We loved the way the...

AiguaClara is a very sweet and charming hotel. The owners, Clara & Joan, make you feel like "at home", they have always a good place to go for a walk, a dinner, a shop and so on... The room (a suite) we reserved was so sweet. Breakfast on the terrace or inside is also a good moment. And you could...

We (two female cousins from Bergen, Norway) spent 11 wonderful days in June/July at this "small palace full of light". Came across hotel Aiguaclara just by chance by looking for hotels in Begur, surfing on-line maps. Ever so hard trying to avoid A4-hotels. Couldn't believe our luck when the picture of a beautiful historic building appeared on the scene, with...

What a WONDERFUL hotel!! We truly enjoyed our stay at the Aiguaclara. We felt like immediate friends with the owners, Joan and Clara, as soon as we walked through the door. They are both so friendly and were more than willing to give advice on the various sites to see. The hotel itself is so small and quaint. We felt...
