Located in a 16th century Renaissance palace, this charming hotel offers modern and tastefully decorated rooms along with the best of staying in a historic building in the centre of Plasencia in the heart of the Jewish quarter and very close to the Cathedrals.
Good breakfast with gluten free and lactose free products. Nice staff.

Highly recommended. Our car broke down on the way back to the Santander ferry and the breakdown service put us in this hotel for 3 nights. This turned out to be a stroke of good fortune. The 2 receptionists who were on duty for the duration of our stay were outstanding. These ladies made a stressful time bearable and went above and beyond every single day to help us out. All the staff we encountered were friendly and engaging. Breakfast was a substantial buffet and a cooked breakfast was also available. Rooms were quiet although the hotel is very centrally located.

Beautiful hotel with great rooms. The staff are very efficient and helpful. Pet friendly - lovely area where u can eat and drink with your dog. Located just round the corner from the main square where there are an array of bars and restaurants.

During our tour of Extremadura we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is in a beautiful old building less than 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor and it has been renovated to a high standard and in an imaginative way. Our room was not large but was very comfortable with a huge shower. We had a roof terrace overlooking the cathedral, which was illuminated at night. The hotel has a small courtyard garden with a plunge pool, which is very refreshing. It also has an indoor pool. The only disadvantage may be that parking is very limited and expensive. We would suggest the free car park near the river, a short walk away. The best aspect of this hotel has to be the service. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful and by far the most friendly hotel staff we came across in Spain this year. They also encouraged my husband with his Spanish. The hotel is beautiful but it is the staff that make it excellent!

The place is perfectly located, not far from the monuments and the walls, serviced by a parking place (book in advance) and with an impeccable staff. Rooms are nice and spacious with a flavor of middle age but all the comfort needed in a business trip.

Stayed hehre with my wife for 2 nights. This is a wonderful hotel beautifully and sympathetically restored in a way which keeps it authentic. The rooms are huge and very comfortable: ours had the original massive stone open fireplace. Our bathroom was bigger than many hotel rooms I have stayed in in London. The restaurant is excellent. The chef is very talented and the service was of the highest standard.

This historical building in the heart of the old city has been transformed into a contemporary, elegant and comfortable hotel. Our three night stay qualified us for the "long stay discount" and made our superior room with breakfast excellent value. The generously-sized room looked out over the plaza (but not a sound disturbed our sleep). A massive stone staircase takes you up to the first floor; then through a tiled terrace and a beautifully furnished salon to reach the room.

Breakfast is served in the atrium courtyard, which also provides the perfect setting for an evening drink. There is also a restaurant, where we had an excellent dinner one night. Don't miss the Pluma Iberica. There are plenty of other places to eat just a few steps away.

Staff are always there when you need them and invariably helpful and friendly.

One word of warning -- if you arrive by car, you have to drive into what is signposted as a restricted zone. If you don't realise this, you will drive around in circles following the signs for the hotel. There are also only a few parking spots at the hotel, but there is another carpark nearby. There is a charge, either way.

Once at the hotel, everything you could wish is within easy walking distance and you'll find Plasencia an enjoyable city to explore. And on Tuesday mornings there is a fantastic market in the Plaza Mayor.

We stayed in a room with no windows. The only sky we could see were two stripes in the ceiling that we could control (ie, open/shut the shades and the windows) with the help of a remote control. So, if you happen to be claustrophobic, don't stay at this hotel. This is the only thing bad I did find with this hotel. For me it is an important one, because I find that paying 95 Euros/ night in a windowless room it is a ripp off! Apart that, everything else is what one expectativa from a 4 star hotel.

Hotel is right in centre of the city, rooms very big and comfortable, our bath was huge. The hotel is very old and made it feel like you were staying in a castle. We had three balconies in our room over looking the small streets, I would recomend this hotel very nice thank you.

We booked this hotel for its location during our tour of Extremadura but now we have experienced this fantastic hotel we would say in future we would travel miles and miles to find such a special hotel. The service is first class with a special mention to GIna (english translation)for the fantastic welcome she gave us, even insisting on coming with me up the road and driving with us to the car park. The room was lovely, terrific bathroom and view to catederal from the private terrace. The styling of the hotel is spot on, blending the period with contemporary. Last but not least you must dine here. We hesitated as it is a degustation menu and thought it was a bit pricey but when we tasted the fantastic food we were so glad we did. Best food we have had in a very long time.

Si, hay un ascensor con capacidad para 8 personas que entiendo sería suficiente para un carrito de gemelos. Además hay habitaciones en la planta baja. Si necesita alguna aclaración mas no dude en contactar con nosotros. Un saludo
