Excellent! Quiet friendly clean and just out of the city

The pool was relaxing and quiet, the owner and manager friendly and helpful, had a wonderful stay highly recommended. The breakfast was continental and came with freshly squeezed orange juice. Omer recommendation of places to visit in the area proved valuable.

Excellent accommodation and service.

Me and 3 friends ended up in this rural accommodation place by chance as we did a last minute reservation. We just were very lucky because El canchal de la Gallina is just the perfect place to spend your time in the Spanish countryside. We stayed on a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen included (you can use the living room as a sleeping room as well, so 4 people can sleep comfortably). The price was amazing. The place was spotlessly cleaned. The decoration was fab and the friendliness of the owner and his staff was wonderful. It is only 5 minutes from the amazing town of Hervas though you can also can walk to the center of the town in about 15-20 minutes. The surroundings are lovely. The breakfast was good enough for this type of place with some local dishes like "migas". They don't have "a la carte" breakfast and you just choose from the options given by the staff but they were great and had this rural feeling to it. The town has plenty of restaurants to choose from or you can take your food from a shop and cook it at the hotel. They also have swimming pool though it wasn't really the time of the year to use it. Generally speaking we enjoyed enormously our stay at this rural hotel and we would repeat in a flash. 200% recommendable. They will also help you with recommendations around the village such as local food and shops, local pastries, restaurants and sightseeing. We were really impressed with the whole experience.
