This was a real find by my sister in law for my birthday. Fantastic location overlooking hillside and terraces. Lying in bed watching sunrise was a treat. The trip in is a great drive with terrific views. Take the last bit slowly up and down to car park. Andreas (or rather his sister) cooks great evening meals. The rooms are...

Great location, great service, wonderful accommodation. Will certainly visit again! Andreas prepares a lovely evening meal and breakfast on the terrace is very special. Well worth doing one of the many walks in the area

Bajo el Cejo is not just a beautiful hotel, it's an experience. The hotel is located in a small mountain village with stunning views over the valley and mountains. Swimming in the outside pool with these views gives a feeling of tranquility one has to experience. Andrés and Pippa are very friendly and helpful hosts, giving us all the information...

We are somewhat picky travelers, so Lets start with how you get here...not easy, but an amazing drive! We went looking for Alhama de Murcia, thinking it was a town, its not. Rather, its a region, and El Berro is the town its in. We went through Geba from madrid and kept going, relying on a map from the gas station...

We thought we were lost when we arrived at the tiny village of El Berro ... But then we found our absolute gem of a hotel! Surrounded by a barren landscape, the town is small but so hospitable. The 'villa' style accom is so lovely! Pool deck is large and well equipped. It feels like a glamorous 'home stay'. Andreas...

A wonderful visit with EXCEPTIONAL hospitality. We will visit again. Furthermore, the cuisine was at the highest standard. We were made to feel at home throughout. A perfect spot to enjoy the local area and all of its natural beauty.

If you're looking for (inner) peace, and a gooood night sleep, here is The perfect place. Quiet, charming, cosy, but you can feel a touch or luxury. The breakfast on The Terrace is perfect. Good products and incredible view. I hope I can go back There some day.

Without the internet and sat nav we would never have found this gem. Beautiful setting up high in the mountains, hence with stunning views. Very rustic. Our room was down quite a slope so needed your energy to come back up for meals but we were very impressed with the room. We also had access to a shared lounge and...
