Lovely family run hostel! Such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, from the moment we stepped in. Great continental breakfast and dinner was fantastic tapas selection! Very close to beach and shops, good undercover parking. Will return!

This review is about the attached restaurant. Lovely garden setting with trees growing through the flooring and creating delightful shade from the summer sun. The atmosphere is truly beautiful. A family of guitaristas were just finishing up playing as we entered the restaurant. I recommend dining outside as this restaurant, as near the beach, do not bother with air conditioning their dining rooms. Lovely breeze and fans outside though! We were served promptly by a waiter and waitress, teaming up to serve us best. The pitcher of sangria was priced at 11e50, a decent price compared to 20e down the beach at Catona Playa. This restaurant was on the road but the food and gardens make up for not being on the beach. The pan and alioli (garlic butter) were scrumptious. Our main dish was the regional dish: arroz a la banda (saffron rice soaked in fish stock) Yummy! The dish cost 23e for the 2 of us. Very enjoyable!

I just went to have dinner, not to lodge so my review is more for if you want to eat there. Firstly, I want to stand out that the place is really nice and cozy. Secondly, the service was really nice and friendly. Thirdly, we have the food. On one hand, we had for starters the 'Sepia' and the 'Carpaccio de Ternera' which both were excellent. If you go here I recommend this two. On the other hand, the main course was done horrible. I mean, my partner asked for 'Lenguado' and it tasted more as butter than as the fish. I asked for a 'Solomillo de ternera' rare, and they brought it firstly medium well and secondly it was obvious that it was frozen (like the Lenguado). For side dish they brought us bread with Ali Oli (I think it was..) and also, you could distinguish that it was frozen.. really disappointed with this place..

Small little very Spanish hotel with just eight bedrooms. Fabulous restaurant with lovely outside eating area and food all freshly prepared and to die for. Drinks dear though - a Bacardi and coke euros 8.50 which was excessive - best stick to beer. Always packed Sundays with Spanish families eating which is a good sign

We loved our spacious, light and airy room with a delightful balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard garden. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bedding looked and smelled so freshly laundered!! The bathroom had an enormous shower area which worked perfectly. The bedroom had excellent lighting which is often lacking in some hotel rooms. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our room personally by the owner. The food in the restaurant was of high quality and served tastefully. We were able to enjoy our ample breakfast outside in the garden area.Altogether a very successful stay and we would return without hesitation.

We spent one night at Hostal Mi Campana whilst travelling through Spain. The location is great and the on site restaurant is well worth a visit, set in a private garden. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. the rooms had a private patio, with private bathroom. The rooms were a little tired but the staff and restaurant make it worth a second visit

We went for dinner and had a menu with some tapas as antipasti and grilled fish as main course. Very nice ambiance in a patio surrounded by trees and greenery. Dinner well served. Fish was greatly grilled, tender and still juicy, and quality of fish was excellent. They have a good menu offer also at midday, which I tried another occasion, also excellent. Prices correct. This restaurant is a good choice.
