My wife and myself went for a week in September half board . The hotel was clean, tidy and the rooms well appointed. The food was varied and plentiful. The pool area was very good and plenty of natural shade. 6 weeks after our return my wife realised that she had not found her cardigan which she last saw in the Hotel Daniya . She contacted the hotel by email and she has had no response at all, not even an acknowledgement.
Stayed two nights over weekend of 27th & 28th May 2020 and, as other comments made on this site, the hotel is dated and a little tired. Nevertheless, my room was clean and comfortable. Leaving for the airport early on the Sunday I asked breakfast staff if I could grab a coffee before the buffet officially opened, only 15 minutes early and I didn’t expect breakfast (although I paid for breakfast when booking). The coffee being provided by machine and therefore not an impediment to the staff setting-up. The initial response was a firm ‘no’ and showed the palm of her hand which took me aback, I think the look on my face told a storey as the lady quickly retracted her statement and allowed me in and I had a coffee. Very strange customer service though!!
I visited family that are staying in Denia until September. Unfortunately from the minute I arrived on Sunday 20th March it rained constantly. My brother and his wife were working by day, so therefore I had nothing to do so I booked myself into Daniya Denia Hotel for 2 nights. The staff in reception were very friendly and welcoming, especially the lady that had spent a Year in Ireland. I went to the Spa Centre and was given a little Tour of it. It was very clean so this made me very comfortable with booking in to spend some time in thier fabulous Pool, Sauna and fantastic Steam Room. I also booked in for a Massage the next morning with the young lady at reception. It was so relaxing well needed so I booked in for another the next day. Food in the Restaurant was perfect and the staff in the restaurant were so friendly and polite. The price of food and drink is very reasonable indeed. Whatever I requested at Breakfast was delivered without hesitation. I was so impressed with the Hotel that I booked in for a third night. My stay at this Hotel really made my Holiday enjoyable because the weather was just awful. Thanks to all there. I will definitely return.…
Good location, stayed 3 night weekend, beds and pillows so uncomfortable, staff pleasant, €20 to use indoor pool facilities which should be free if your a paying guest surely? Wouldn't rate as 4* and not cheap with no breakfast included.
It was a great surprise to go back to this amazing hotel. Many changes going on in the rooms (like new tvs) and in the hotel. I will definitely go back to Daniya Denia hotel! Great service and very close to the beach.
Good value hotel, located 500m from beach and 1K to start of town. Lovely pool area but not many beds. Air conditioning really good and quiet, generally clean and well appointed. Ok, a bit dated but everything worked and the staff were great
The hotel is okay, but nothing more. There were several major flaws such as the fan in the air conditioning not working. This meant that during the day the room was impossible to keep cool. We advised the reception about this and was first told that we had set the thermostat wrong, which we haven’t. Then a technician came and concluded that the fan was broken and there was nothing he could do. We mentioned this to the reception and was told they would look into it, but nothing happened. Since we were only there for 3 nights, we ended up not pressing the issue. It would, however, have been nice if the reception had been a little more proactive. We were also not offered any compensation when we raised the issue again during checkout. The toilet was also not functioning properly. Whenever you had flushed, you had to work the buttons in order for it to not keep running. In general the hotel is pretty worn. The beds are incredibly firm bordering on being able to feel the springs. Additionally, there are some minor annoyances. For example, there is a full kitchen (cook top has been removed) but no trash can and no glasses for drinks. We had to use the plastic glasses from the bathroom. The light in the hallway turns off automatically, however, the sensor as space so that you basically have to be right under the lamp before it turns on. This makes the hallway seem very unwelcoming. We were also missing a “don’t disturb” sign, so we were disturbed by housekeeping several times. A request to the reception for a sign did not lead to one materializing. To summarize: The hotel is okay, but was probably about €30-50 too expensive per night when taking its condition into consideration.…
My step father had booked this hotel for a friends wedding but due to Covid wedding was cancelled. He received a voucher but can no long travel as he is awaiting a knee op. I spoke with Christina in reception who said he will receive a full refund. I have rang and emailed a few other times as refund has still not been received. This is very disappointing, frustrating and time consuming. The receptionists can be rude staying “do not understand” when I ring to enquire. Very poor customer service
Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms. Amazing friendly staff. They go out of their way to accommodate. They upgraded us and gave us free champagne to celebrate. They could not do enough. Very reasonable rates. Food and drink beautiful and reasonable.
Never disappoint here, rooms are clean and large, beds comfy, spa is excellent, lots choice for breakfast and staff are perfect. The value and location are second to none. Will be staying again shortly
