I have been going to Hotel Villamoor for over 7 years and I always have a happy, peaceful and comfortable stay. I travel alone to snatch a bit of "me time. " The staff go-all out to make you feel welcome and the service is great (amazing buffet breakfast). This coupled with the two minute walk across the road to a simply stunning long beach (warm sea great for swimming) and restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy nearby make it a perfect boutique hotel to relax! My husband and I made a last minute change to our travel plans to include a visit to Denia. I would like to advise that most of the rooms can only be accessed by a stairway. Please keep that in mind if you are thinking of booking at this hotel. Also, if you don't mind not having air-conditioning, you will be fine at the hotel. I noticed that doors and windows were open while we were there. I am not sure if they just don't feel like paying for air-conditioning or if they don't work and don't fix them. When we arrived in our room it was hot and a window in the bathroom was open. My husband had a hard time closing it, so we let reception staff know. The receptionist came up and closed the window. We also told her that the room's air conditioning didn't seem to be working, and she sent a man up to work on it. After working on it for a while, he got a bit of air circulating in the room. The room eventually became tolerable, although the hallways and other areas were quite warm, and even the staff remarked about it. The room itself is quite cute. Is it small and decorated in a colorful way with bright multiple colors. The bed was comfortable enough for the two nights that we stayed there. I found the dark hallway kind of creepy. Lights come on with a motion sensor after you've entered the dark hallway. The outdoor area is quite lovely. There is a patio with tables for eating breakfast, and there is a small swimming pool and lounging area with lounge chairs. The location was great, just a couple of blocks from the beach. It was okay staying at this hotel for a couple of nights.

Having booked a superior room we were most disappointed at the standard, very small room and no balcony. The aircon didn't work, despite the management promising to sort it for us. The room was very noisy and we were able to hear EVERYTHING going on in the neighbouring room. The safe battery was flat so wouldn't work, so they gave us a key as they didn't have a battery and the mini bar was lock and out of use. This is a pleasant hotel but sadly lacking in certain areas and certainly not worth the money we paid. On our final day although we had prepaid for breakfast none was available, but we didn't have the time or energy to ask for a refund of 10.00€.

Arrived after a long drive from Perpignan. It's in a small suburb of Llobell, totally modern.Stark white reception, rooms, dining area relieved by coloured panels. Had to breakfast .in small sunny courtyard because of our dog, better than indoors. Real surprise came at checkout. I'd bought a satnav and couldn't get it to accepts GPS co-ordinates. Shown how it's done by receptionist.Top marks!

This inexpensive hotel is stylish and quiet. Unfortunately, it's quiet because it's three to four kilometres from the centre of Dénia - a drive rather than a stroll. But, there are a number or bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the beach is just over the road. Negative points include a silly little pool (a plunge-pool, rather than something to swim in) and lousy Internet. A pity - otherwise recommended.

We stayed at Hotel Villamor for two nights directly after a few rough nights camping at a music festival so needed a bit of TLC and recovery time. This is exactly what we got! A friendly reception and warm welcome, nicely appointed room, a stones throw from the beach. Would definitely return and / or recommend.

A very comfortable hotel, rooms are small but clean and functional. It,s close to the beach, and the area lacks of some services, but if you just want to be relaxed and rest, it,s perfect. It,s not cheap and the toilet is quite old, but the staff is so helpful and kind that compensate it.
