A pleasant enough hotel , with a welcoming receptionist, It’s central to the town , the marina and tram station. Our room was clean , the bed comfortable, and the huge shower was hot and powerful. Secure parking . Very basic hotel amenities……no fridge or kettle, and the bar closed at 10.30, Would recommend for a short stay.
The hotel itself isn't bad and at the cheaper end of the market, but that said, there is absolutely no soundproofing or sound dampening. Every single bit of noise can be heard from one end of the hotel to the other, not to mention drunks returning to their rooms at 2:30 in the morning, running up and down the corridor. The worst nights sleep I've had in a long while. The staff were quite friendly and efficient, however they were less than honest, I asked for a late checkout, only to be told it's not possible as they were full. So I thought I would check online and would you believe it, rooms were available! When I told them this, they said there is a policy of no late checkout at the weekend. So I had to pay for an entire nights extra stay for the 2 hours late checkout - and they happily took my money. Seriously not happy about this, but what could I do. I paid for the buffet breakfast, at £13 per day. Although what was there was fine, there were no hot options. Not worth the price they charge by a long way. Not a hotel I will be returning to.…
Hotel MR Costa Blanca. Could not get into our rooms so checked bags and went out for coffee. Nice large bedroom with nice bedding, but the horrible single pillow. Fortunately, they had additional pillows available. No extra plugs by the bed so we have to unplug the lamps to plug in our phones to charge. That leaves one weak light at the doorway and one lamp over the desk for lighting in the evening. That light over the desk is very inadequate at night. Nice size desk with plug for computer. Refrigerator by the desk. No in-room safe. No luggage racks so must use the open shelving for storage. Bathroom is nice size with walk-in shower. You would think they would learn you need a shower door to keep water off the floor and you need a ventilation fan to remove the moisture from the bathroom.…
Nice enough accommodation, but no sound insulation between rooms. We moved twice and had to deal with arguing couples sounding like we were sharing a room. Not the hotels fault per-se, but the sound insulation between rooms is virtually non existent. We were charged despite not being able to sleep.
Absolutely crap hotel the walls are paper thin you can hear everything from the ground floor up . I had a room on first floor noises from neighbours horifiy . I complained they moved me to an even more noisy room when I complained again I got charged ! Don’t stay here absolutely rubbish!!!
After an awful trip to Valencia,we decided to pop into Denia and had the pleasure of staying at this lovely city centre hotel. We stayed in pet friendly room. Clean and comfortable. Not noisy. Just a short walk to the Marina. Reception staff were fabulous and super helpful. Breakfast was very good and we will definitely return.
This was our second stay at this hotel and last time we weren't impressed by the breakfast and so had excellent coffee & bocadillos in one of the nearby cafes. Everything else about the hotel was comfortable and cosy, as it was for this stay. However, we thought we'd give the food another try this time and opted for the dinner menu, available from 8.30pm. Unfortunately it was appalling ~ very average squid rings, an indeterminate soup obviously from a packet as first course of a 2-course menu and soggy veg on both mains. I had what was supposed to be iberico escalopes but it was reformed chicken in breadcrumbs and my partner chose veal cheeks, which were lukewarm and not very tasty. The barman/cook offered an alternative course but we didn't feel inclined to eat anything else that was so uninspiring. Postre appeared as a chocolately thing with that false spray cream and no choice of anything else. We weren't charged for a couple of glasses of wine at the end however, but I don't think I can remember having such a disappointing and poor quality meal in Spain ever.…
Impressed by location, impressed by aesthetic appearance of the hotel. Our room was cosy, comfortable with the sifted of bed linen. Bathroom with spa bath/shower and hot water! Breakfast good. Definitely a repeat visit. Very happy
I stayed in this hotel for two nights while attending a family celebration. I feel it is a very good value for money hotel in the town and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again. Good things about this hotel, in no particular order; Big fluffy towels A safe in the room A fridge in the room A/C in the room Strong wifi Loads of hot water 5 minutes’ walk from the seafront Helpful staff Good buffet spread for breakfast The only downside is the parking, but parking in Denia is a bit of a ‘mare regardless of where you stay, so it’s not the hotels fault. As I said, will be using again.
We stayed a couple of nights. Reception was very good, room large and pretty good, bed a little soft for my liking but ok. Breakfast was ok , however I think a breakfast is defined by its bread, here it wasn't so much stale it was just cheap bread, (a bit like cardboard) the rest of the breakfast was good, all continental buffet style. The location is good as denial isn't a massive town, the hotel is very close to the tram/train station, and only a minute or so from the port and the old town. We had a great stay.
