We chose the Chamerel for a four night stay because it was in the old part of the city and reasonably priced. This is a small hotel with stacks of character and charm, it is in an old building with original features and appropriate furnishings. For a small hotel it is a lively hub for the local arts with a...

We stayed 8 nights - arriving late because of a difficulty with the hire car firm - but we were met with a friendly welcome and assurances that midnight was fine. The open wood fire in the breakfast area was nice and the breakfast included a bowl of fruit ever morning - and toast and croissants. The ancient Castello was...

We stayed here for 3 nights for a wedding in October and were super happy with everything. The style of the place is classic with much of the original features of the building kept intact and in fantastic state. There are antique style furnishings which match the building brilliantly and also a mix of some more modern art / design...

Bags of potential but needs some TLC. Breakfasts need more variety - they could easily make use of all the local pastries etc but don't. A pity because it is so nicely positioned. If you hire a car then parking is an issue.

This hotel smells like a brocante everytime you enter! Very friendly staff!! The owners( i think we guest who they are) are quite closed! We have to say we were done with the breakfast after 3 days the same, and a long face when we asked for some tomatoe! We think they could make a lot more of this place!...

A fabulous Spanish experience with my partner at art boutique hotel Chamarel in Denia. Very artistic, well done decoration with some Asian touch. The employees were very helpful; they did recommend where we could have a paella for dinner; they also allowed us to discover amazing places on the coast, such as la “cova tallada” and the “parque natural del...
