Value
A place where you feel yourself in peace and tranquillity. You will enjoy sunbathing around the pool under the shining sun on a breezy plateau overlooking the village with stunning mountain view in daytime and sunset view in evening. The ideal location of this hotel provides you with the best weather you may find in this area as it leans against the forest on the skirts of Para gliders most popular mountain, this altitude makes the sunbathing here more joyful and pleasant compared to the destinations in both Fethiye and Oludeniz characterised by high humidity and scorching sun in high summer season. It is just 10 minutes drive (4 km) to the famous Oludeniz Beach at Blue Lagoon and at the same distance to Calis Beach in Fethiye.

Nestled in a prime location, Sunshine Holiday Resort has been lauded for its attentive staff and beautiful surroundings, making it a hit with many guests. The atmosphere, particularly the pool area, is often highlighted as a highlight, especially for couples. However, opinions on room quality and service are mixed, with some guests facing issues with maintenance and responsiveness. While the resort's cleanliness and amenities are generally praised, dated aspects and inconsistency have been noted. Travelers are divided on the resort's value, balancing affordable rates against hidden costs and varying quality.

We have just returned from 10 nights and have had a lovely holiday. The hotel is 3 star like Jet2’s recommendation but not 4 as on here. We arrived at 2am to be given a very welcomed sandwich and shown to our room that was clean and the fridge held bottles of water (although I used tap all holiday for cleaning teeth with no issues). We had a few ants which we dealt with ourselves (it is Turkey remember!) and the towels were plentiful. The only moan about the room was the bed was very hard. If you have fussy eating kids then you will struggle but we always found something nice to eat and there was plenty of fresh salads and cheeses. There is a snack bar in the afternoon with burgers and nuggets but no complaints from us about food. The drinks are limited to beer, wine (red, white and rose) vodka, rum, gin and Reiki and there’s plenty of it. The hotel entertainment is so bad it’s funny but we enjoyed sitting by the pool bar, playing cards and chatting to people at night. The town is only a short £2.50 cab ride away and there’s a button to call a cab at reception. We used the free shuttle bus to the beach a couple of times and they take you to a beach club where the sun beds and brollies are free as long as you use them for good and drink, all delicious and reasonably priced. We always found sun beds at the hotel as there’s a few pools but they could do with more pads to make them comfortable. The main pool toilet was grim but that’s because of the way people left it a state but there were more a short walk away at the other pool. The only real issue we had was no WiFi other than in reception or the pool bar and that some days didn’t work. The room wasn’t made up for a few days so we asked at reception and they fixed it which was the same for anything you wanted, ask and the staff were very happy to always help. We heard loads of people in moaning about things but the hotel was cheap and a holiday is what you make it rather than the fact you don’t have enough coat hangers (seriously a complaint from one woman who wasn’t happy there was only 10!). Thank you Sunshine Hotel, we have good holiday memories!

We have been going to turkey for over 25 years
We stayed here for two weeks not the best hotel by far the rooms are dated but clean the towels and bedding are old and worn but are clean .we only had hot water for 5 days out of 14 . wifi is only at the pool bar or reception area and is very poor
DO not get a pool view room you will be up till all hours with shouting singing and music and people banging on your door then running away
I have been told the hotel had been sold it does need money spending on it and upgrading .but this should have been done during the lock down and not in the holiday season .
This is not a hotel is not for people with walking difficulties or disabled
Outside the hotel looks like a building site the roads are really bad.
Inside the hotel you will find cracked tiles round the pool area, ,broken sun lounger, big gaps in the paving slabs and move when you walk on them, pool step rails are dangers, the slide was ripping swim wear ,The hand rails near reception are loose
The food is ok if you like salad and lukewarm food could be improved we did struggle a lot but as we had food of our own and went out every night and sometimes during the day you will find something you can eat for a small snack but it’s the same thing The dining area is kept spotless .
The worst thing about this hotel is the entertainment you can`t understand a word the DJ say`s and the same Turkish music every day 95% of people were English I did ask for some English music 70s 80s 90s Motown soul reggae rock rap northern soul anything but Turkish music but we got nothing I did put my speaker on the balcony and round the pool played my music people asked me to turn it up and started singing to it I did offer my laptop and hard drive to him to the DJ my music but he refused
The best thing about this hotel is the staff except the entertainment manager the cleaners work so hard and long hours The restaurant staff are so helpful and well organized
Would i got back no no no

After reading the reviews, I tried to change and cancel with no luck. Then my son got chicken pox a week before and I actually thought is this my ticket to get out of going but then I had my other two children looking forward to this holiday we spoke about for months, so with a fit to fly off we went... Not going lie wasn't the build up I usual have for a holiday but when we got there I was pleasantly surprised, maybe the bad reviews made it out to be worse that what it was and I was just pleased it wasn't that bad but we hadn't paid hat much being a family of five, so think I saw it as cheap and cheerful, so I do feel for those families that paid a lot more.
Check in was very quick at one in the morning, which is what we needed with 3 tired children, we weren't given our all inclusive bracelets which we were then asked for 2 days in before they would give us a drink (which was fine, guess that's why we were checked in fast) we were took to our room which was clean, good size, ground floor and our doors all locked fine. Beds were rock hard! And as the week went on the reviews on cleaners were definitely true, think we had our room cleaned once first week and not at all second week. Wouldn't of had sheets or towels changed I don't think if we didn't ask, we were right next to staff room so just asked in there and changed them ourselves.
Breakfast was good, loved the freshly made omelettes, kids lived on chocolate on pancakes, toast or biscuits for the 2 weeks we were there.I thought the food was alright, actually felt very healthy, not the normal ate to much feeling I usual have returning home, salads were great, so I had chicken/Turkey cooked all different ways, with rice and salad for dinner and tea most days when we didn't eat out and kids always had something to eat if they didn't like dinner, they just had something from the snack bar later in the day. Drinks were fine for us too, couple of Shandy's through the day (never flat beer) sunshine special cocktails were definitely strong enough, not that I am a big drinker but I felt a little tipsy after a couple.
Pool was great, not too cold, slide was great and the two hours were enough I thought for the kids as we have a 2yr old that wanted to be on, so would of just been climbing steps and going down slides all day. Liked that they brought watermelon around the pool in afternoon, we did spent a small fortune on ice cream/ice lollies from the shop.
Staff we found great with the kids.

This is the 3rd time we have been back to this hotel, and it will certainly be the last!!!!

The cleanliness of the rooms is disgusting and in the 2 weeks that we stayed there we had to ask for our room to be cleaned 4 days in a row before someone actually did it. We had to do the same to get clean towels and were given 4 hand towels and told that was all they had, not sure we could even wrap one of those around our youngest daughter!! We complained again and after nearly 2 hours of going back and forth to Reception, as if by magic, 4 brand new larger towels arrived.

Our bedding was changed once in 14 days, the toilet was disgusting and there was a horrible sewage smell coming from the bathroom daily. We mentioned this, but nothing was done about it. The food is repetitive and although the salads were lovely, not much else was unless you like chicken, Turkey and chips every day. Ice cream is not included and whilst we were there, the shop on site put up the prices of the ice creams!

The entertainment team are not interested in the children at all. They run 6 activities during the day for adults only and make this very clear. The kids club if you can call it that was run by 1 lady who disappeared all the time, so children were left to fend for themselves. Some left while she was gone and were found wandering around the resort by themselves.
They introduced a sign in sheet that lasted a day. The activities consisted of colouring and drawing on each other with face paint crayons! There was nothing else for them to do at all, so if you have children over 5 they are going to be bored. The ‘mini disco’ consists of the same 6 songs every single night!

Behind where the kids club is situated there is what can only be described as a dumping ground for building tools, including 2 large rusty saws that were just left on top of boxes of tiles and open bags of cement. It is not cordoned off at all and a lot of children were going into that area. Again this was mentioned to the reception staff but nothing happened.

If you want a sun bed, then get up early to reserve one with your towel, because if you snooze you lose literally!

Wi-Fi is non existent unless you sit in the reception area or the restaurant, but only certain areas pick it up. The pool bar WiFi never worked in the whole time we were there.

It’s a real shame to be writing such a negative review as we saw this hotel at its best when we visited it twice before. It needs a lot of money thrown at it to improve all the accommodation, an entertainment team that understands the concept of a family holiday providing activities for all ages not just adults and management that actually cares enough to sort things out.

ld like to give you some comments about this hotel, firstly it is advertised as 4*. But Jet2 rated it as 3*, I think that is stretching the imagination somewhat, I think 2* would be more like it!
We arrived late at night at were put on 3rd floor ( 6 flights of stairs and no lifts), h husband has COPD we asked to change rooms and just got told come back tomorrow, come back tomorrow— we gave up eventually!
Daily room cleaning is virtually non existent the staff gave everyone a note ( 2 days after we arrived) asking them to put the hanger on your room door if you needed your room serviced, on at least 4 days we hung the hanger on the door, returned later in the afternoon and the room HAD NOT been cleaned. We had NO clean bedding during the course of the week, and had to ask for clean towels. Whilst I appreciate the need to look after the environment, surely in those hot temperatures clean beds AT LEAST once would have been acceptable?
The bathroom — well when they ask you to use the bin provided for used toilet paper you would expect said bin to be emptied every day yes? No! The stench was revolting. The shower looked good except the fixed shower head did not work at all and the hand held attachment just trickled out and was very difficult to get a happy medium with the temperature of the water.
The hotel states that there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel —that is only true if you sit either in reception or in the restaurant, there was no way you could connect to the Wi-Fi in your room.
We booked a standard double which states that there is an IPod and MP3 player docking station, we had neither of these!, which to be fair was no big deal, however if it’s advertised as a feature the feature should be there!
The food on the whole was disgusting, we only ate breakfast in the hotel then ate out on an evening, thank the Good Lord for 60TL (£3) taxis into Hisaronu! we most certainly aren’t fussy eaters however The menu was repeated most lunchtimes and evenings, so pity help the poor souls who are there for more than 1 week. Whilst I am in no way racist, the hotel seems to cater more for its Turkish guests, rather than the English.
The staff ( reception included) speak VERY little English so trying to get over to them what you wanted was a virtual no go unless you typed the message in your phone and showed them.

Please believe all the bad reviews because this hotel is the worst. Me and my 2 daughters arrived 8th of June 5am in the morning we were told our swim up room was not available so we were put in a deluxe room up 4 flights of stairs. The room we were put in was defo no deluxe room it was filthy the bathroom stank of raw sewerage. We got a phone call to our room 2 days later from a gentleman off reception saying our swim up room would be ready for 12.30 the next so to pack up and go reception and we will be shown to our new room. We arrived at reception at 12.30 all packed up after carry out heavy suitcases down 4 flights of stairs to be told by a woman who didn't haven't a clue wat I was on about that there wasn't a room available as they are too busy so go bk to my old room. I told her where to go and demanded I got what I originally paid for and I wasn't moving until I got it. She then dissappear behind this wall thing and comes back and says OK room ready 2hrs so we waited she then tells me room is ready so we were shown to the room to walk into the last persons mess who was there before us the room hadn't been cleaned the bedding dirty and still unmade so the cleaner came she was more interested in the freebies she was finding from the people before us to clean properly thats the only time our room was cleaned in a week no toilet or nothing. The food was absolutely disgusting I wouldn't feed it to my dog. They have alot of young males workers there who hang around the pool table of a night I paid 100 lira for my teenage daughters to play for hour. My daughters didn't even get to finish a game because they were laughing at my daughters because they couldn't do it properly so they took the pool cubes and they started to finish there game also I caught them secretly filming them while they were bending over to take a shot on the game one even had his phone propped up against the fence filming my 14yr old daughter. This is not on they should be ashamed on them selves. This hotel needs cleaned down immediately its a bio hazard and I could not wait to get out of the place.

We travelled here late July 2022 for 10 days with our grandchildren. On arrival we asked for a deluxe room which was supposed to include a jacuzzi bath and be larger than a standard room. We paid an extra £350 for this and we're totally ripped off. Did we get a larger room with Jacuzzi bath NO we got a standard room with bunk beds very small and what we had originally paid for via jet2. Complained by email in writing ad hotel staff speak very little English. To date no reply received and we are still out of pocket. Basically we have been ripped off by hotel and we did not get the room advertised and paid for. Cleaning is very hit and miss our room was cleaned once in 10 days. When we asked for fresh towels we were given hand towels as apparently they didn't have any bath towels. You had to physically ask for toilet roll as rooms were not cleaned. The pool area was OK, however people were cutting their feet on broken tile in the pool. All inclusive drinks were served in very small plastic cups the same as the soft drinks only beer was served in a standard half pint glass. The entertainment manager changed a couple of days into our say and worked hard with games in the pool darts etc. The food was OK always something you could eat but mostly Turkish and chip and onion rings at breakfast. We ate out alot which added alot to the cost of our so called AI holiday. Evening entertainment was not great or non existent,so we went into hisaronu every night again more cost added to holiday. If you weren't up at the crack of dawn you struggled to get a sunbed. Overall I would rate this as a 2 star hotel at most certainly not a 4 star an not even the 3 stars jet 2 gave it. All in all we will not be returning to this hotel ever we have been holidaying in Turkey for over 10 years and can honestly say this is by far the worse hotel we have ever stayed in.

Room we are staying in is meant to be deluxe yet it’s a basic room with a double bed and a jacuzzi bath. Friendly bar staff and reception. jet2 are terrible and won’t offer us another hotel without forking out another £1000 yet we just spent 4500 on this. Transfer driver got lost and took extra half hour to get here. Take your money and spend it elsewhere hotel isn’t even worth the hassle. Really nice location could be a fabulous hotel if it was run properly but it’s not. Bed sheets stink like they haven’t even been washed, food is decent. Drinks are ok, wine is terrible. Floors are filthy inside the rooms so don’t walk bare footed, makes me question what the maids actually clean. Fridge in room is warm. Towels been left in our room from the people staying before us? 4 star hotel deluxe room and can’t clean the room properly?? Definitely not a 4 star hotel like it’s stated and highly dissatisfied and been led on. Last time stayed in Antalya an actual 4 star hotel for half of the price of this holiday. Very disappointing will not be coming here again and don’t think we will use jet2 again. Free Bar doesn’t open till 10 and shuts at 11. Pool bar shuts at 2 but charge for drinks after 11. Only have access to 2 pools. 40 degree weather yesterday and we had no drinks on offer for over an hour. Pool bar was shut for cleaning and food bar doesn’t open till food time, wouldn’t even serve us a poxy drink. Second day being here and I’ve seen at least 6 other families also complain. So many complaints jet2 have to have an extra rep coming because there’s so many complaints to deal with. Only thing good about the time being here was the jet2 rep, tried his best to help us and get a move.

Do not book this hotel!
Around the hotel was building work galore we thought we was being dropped off the an actual building site.
We arrived the day after our checkin started (due to the flight times) the hotel told us our room was not ready and said we could upgrade for £175 to a room that was ready when we declined magically a room was ready! Taking us to our room the lift DOESNT WORK it’s all boarded up and the hotel is very hilly I couldn’t push the pushchair up my partner even helped a lady in a wheelchair as she couldn’t get up to the main part of the hotel. We then had to carry a pushchair up 3 flights of stairs it was a nightmare and back down again so dangerous.
When taking us to our room the porter couldnt unlock the room as the locks where dodgy after 15 minutes and 4 staff members we finally got into our room. The room was dirty and bedsheets ripped! If you have younger children the bunkbeds are scary they are very high up I’d say only suitable for 5 years plus on the top bunk!
The patio doors would not lock and the air conditioning did not work after telling the reception staff they told us there was nothing they could do the hotel very busy.
Anyway we carried on and tried to ignore the bad parts(we didn’t want to rein it for our children. We went to the pool and my 3 years old boy slipped over 3 times banging his head on the floor around the pool was so slippery (we’ve never had this issue in other hotels not the hotel we moved to after this one).
The slide was so dangerous the lifeguard would only let one person go up the stairs and told me it’s not safe it was all falling apart and giving way.
Toilets broken, bird poop all over the stairs! Just filthy everywhere.
We then went to lunch the food was little fly’s everywhere and the chefs where all smoking in the kitchen and around the live cooking station.

We then met with the hotel rep who basically said the lifts worked and the hotel is busy but later in the conversation said the lifts used to work. He told us there was nothing he or the hotel staff could do so we have to contact love holidays.
The manger of the hotel was aggressive and basically told us we had to get on with it
In the end determined that we wanted to keep our family safe and our holiday not to be reined after waiting 2 long years(due to covid) we moved to pine valley hotel I would highly recommend this hotel!
I’m begging please do not book this hotel it needs new management and a revamp
The pictures I have uploaded with the high chairs is where the lifts is supposed to be

Wifi is absolutely awful, can’t reach any family members or friends at all. Rooms disgusting, when you come out the shower the water you leave behind looks black with dirt. The rooms obviously aren’t cleaned very thoroughly at all. Broken curtains, broken Air conditioning unit needed 3 tries to even get near to fixing it and when they did fix it, they installed a pipe leaving dry wall all over the bed and floor. Dust was everywhere and still all over the bedside cabinets.

Room was only cleaned on the 3rd day due to so many complaints of them not being cleaned at all. Was running on dirty towels and little toilet roll.

Food is bland and same old same old stuff, not a lot of variation to it. The only good thing is the chocolate desert. Turkish people can also be incredibly rude to English people and even had what i can only explain as a rivalry within the evening entertainment.

Kids club entertainment is awful. Kids were not engaged, entertainment managers had absolutely no enthusiasm. Some entertainment after the kids part is over was okay, but still hit and miss. Some is good but some is absolutely naff.

Personally I’d book a better hotel. 5 star hotels are definitely worth paying for if it means you avoid this awful place.
