The quiet and peaceful hotel is set back from Ovacik’s main road towards the surrounding green mountain slopes. The hotel offers a number of facilities all in keeping with the fun and friendly attitude of the hosts, including a bookshelves, internet access, some movies and karaoke machine. The Forever may not boast many luxuries or claim to be the largest hotel in the area, but the great service and friendly atmosphere ensure that guests return year after year.

Just tried to leave this review on the feefo website but the page kept crashing, think I wrote too much ;-) Travelled with Friendship Travel. Really enjoyed the holiday, lovely little private hotel, great for relaxing by the pool during the day. Really friendly staff, always happy to help. Only a ten minute taxi ride to the beach, shops, bars or the cable cars. About 15/20 minute walk to the main bars and shops if you were up for it in the heat but a few restaurants and small supermarkets just a couple of minutes walk away if you just need a few supplies. I was lucky enough to get one of the top floor rooms which are a great size and lovely views, my only niggle there was that they could do with a couple of hooks on the bathroom door to hang towels from as they are not changed every day. I did mention it to them so maybe they will consider it. Breakfast is pretty basic, they had scrambled or fried eggs a few times but nothing to keep them warm, most days I just ended up with a few small pieces of toast and some slices of cheese and some melon. A few other guests mentioned they could do with more choice of fruit. If you want to eat lunch in the hotel, they have a good choice of toasties, burgers, kebabs, salads etc.. and the food always came up lovely. We had evening meals in the hotel a few nights each week, there is usually a selection of meze starters (nice to be able to try some new things that I wouldn't usually eat) and then two mains to choose from. Everyone is then given the same dessert, I realise they can't have lots of alternatives but would be nice to maybe offer ice cream or something similar if someone doesn't like the option given? Jean and Pam were our hosts for the two weeks, both great ladies having to deal with such a mixture of people and keep everyone happy! They talked us through all the excursions, made bookings for taxi's and restaurants if needed and left details up of who was doing what and pick up times etc.. We were a bit late being notified of pick up times for flights home but with all the cancellations recently, I think they were waiting for some of the times to be confirmed. I would definitely be happy to go back there again.

I have returned from a week at this hotel in may 2022. This was my fifth visit and I have two further stays planned. Although a three star hotel, this hotel is five star in terms of cleanliness and service, evening meals are cooked from scratch traditional Turkish flavours predominant. The pool is clean and a good enough size for a swim, ample sun beds in the shade and full sun. Plenty of activities are available for those who want more than sunshine and swimming, beach 10 minutes by dolmus or taxi. The family who run this hotel are friendly and always aim to please.

Thought I would add my praise for this great place. I haven’t been to Turkey before; always swerved it because of things I had heard. I have read the feedback but thought although it was not for me, everybody praised Baz and Oz, so I knew it could not be that bad; Baz and Oz are just great. So I clicked and went for it. At first I could not believe how green Turkey was; again because of preconceptions. I arrived at the Forever and was instantly made welcome by the owners and fellow guests. From then it just got better. In no particular order, the food, the price, the service just cannot be believed. Jean, who lives there, has picked up the ethos. During the holiday she had to work more because of the problems that we have at the moment but did not lose her cool. She was really professional at all times and made everything work. Thank you Jean. I must remark on the service both in the hotel and in the resort generally. The people here just cannot do enough for you and are so friendly. The food is excellent and it is scary how cheap it is. I was really sad to leave and hope to go again for a longer stay when things get better, as I know they will. Love to Jean, Baz and Oz and Idon and the ones whose names I did not learn; my bad! Lawrence

I have just come back from staying at this hotel. I went with Friendship Travel. I wrote a review on their website which I think was a little harsh so I’m doing a fairer one here! This is a small 19 room family run hotel. It’s very casual and has a relaxing feel about it. The two brothers who run it are friendly and always around if you need anything. Bar open all day. The gardens are beautifully kept and there are some unusual relaxing chairs which are very comfortable. Swimming pool very clean. The meals are taken in a restaurant more or less outside. Being picky I think the chair cushions could have been better. But it’s a nice place to eat. The meals consisted of a lovely Turkish Meze. The main courses I had a slight criticism as there wasn’t much Turkish food for meat eaters but I am Pescatarian so luckily had some fish kindly cooked for me, and some Turkish Aubergine another night . Breakfast was great, mostly Turkish though which I loved. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day. I stayed in a loft room which was lovely with slanting ceilings, spacious and a huge terrace. 2nd week I had a smaller room with small balcony with a very small bathroom but good enough shower area. Good air conditioning. I feel given the facilities this is not a 3 star hotel. But if you want a Turkish style small hotel that’s in a quiet area, that’s casual and has lovely views this is for you.

Racist hotelier Baz. Throughout the holiday he made untoward comments about Turkish guests particular women that chose to cover themselves. Seemed to be anti-Muslim. Made an aggrogant racist comment to me about my colour. When questioned about his comment he soon had nothing to say. Immature brother Oz played the fool too. Mother, chef and housemaid all lovely and accommodating. Over all Baz should be professional and keep his bigoted comments to himself. I tried not to let this spoil my holiday, however overall very bad taste was left in my mouth. Please think twice before spending your Turkish Lira or GBP here.

I've just returned from the Forever with friendship travel. Due to the current covid situation obv things were slightly different, but for anyone with anxiety, there is really no need. Both friendship and the hotel had put everything necessary into place for a safe and comfortable stay and adhered to it at all times such as social distancing, ppe and daily temp checks. Jean is a fantastic rep and extremely knowledgeable and was on hand if we needed her, alongside getting to know all the guests individually. Baz, Oz and their mum as hosts were wonderful, they worked so hard and their ultimate focus is to clearly give the guests an enjoyable stay. Extremely welcoming, friendly, do anything for you and excellent English. I loved the hotel, quant, comfortable and cosy rooms unlike bigger hotels which was lovely. A lovely pool area great for relaxing with everyone set in beautifully kept gardens with hammocks. The food is lovely, great selection at every meal, the chef works super hard to provide the best and even made me lunch for my return journey. The cleaner is also constantly on site working her socks off, such a lovely lady. All in all it was a wonderful stay. I cannot wait until I return to this little gem next Yr. Until then my biggest thanks to you all. Laura

There’s lots of reviews about this 18 bedroom hotel; it’s not to be missed! I was there in 2012 and again, last week. It’s had an upgrade and there is nothing to fault! I was on the top floor in room 401, with a roof terrace overlooking the mountains and the morning sun lighting up my room-bliss! Lovely people running the hotel, Baz, Oz, and their mother,....couldn’t do enough for you, always so friendly. Beautiful gardens, plenty of sun loungers, fabulous food...so much to love about it all. Met some really nice people, it was a Friendship Travel holiday and Jean our host was the best! Would I go back a 3rd time?... definitely!!! If you want a tip...take your own coffee!

I accept this is a three star hotel and can’t therefore expect five star standards so hope you bear this in mind when reading my review and I realise I may be a bit picky!! A return visit with friends from another holiday so knew what to expect and booked a top floor room this time which was very nice and had a lovely view. It is a three star hotel with basic facilities but the staff are pleasant and helpful and the room was cleaned daily. The room: I would prefer the sheets and towels were changed more frequently when on holiday (only once a week here) and that the towels had a little fluff and were bigger! The pool: It’s kept very clean and there were plenty of sun beds. I hired a pool/beach towel for the week (£10) and this was a good size but you are not allowed to change for a clean one over the course of a week. If you are staying two weeks you may change your beach towel once! The gardens are well maintained. The food: It’s OK but the breakfasts are identical each day - I lost my appetite for breakfast over the week. Dinner (included in half board on some days) did not include any wine or water and seemed to consist of a similar meze each day followed by slightly odd mixtures of mains, eg, lasagne and/or curry chicken (coated in batter) with rice. This may be typical Turkish food? It’s just not particularly a meal to look forward to each evening. Lunches could be delicious though and are reasonably priced. There’s a lot of praise for the rep but in my opinion she seems quite bored with the whole thing (towards end of season maybe?). The rep that came on the boat trip with us however was far more enthusiastic ensuring everyone was well looked after. I’m not sure why some guests feel the need to make a collection for this rep - it’s not something I’ve experienced elsewhere as far as I can remember. Lots of folk love this hotel and this may be your sort of holiday (it’s certainly a good price) - it’s just not for me again.

I stayed for 2 weeks at the Forever Hotel, which is situated in a quiet spot in Ovacik but only 10 minutes walk from shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is kept spotlessly clean and has a lovely bar, pool and garden area. The family that run the hotel are absolutely lovely, they really looked after us and the food was great with a good selection of lots of delicious choices. My room was at the back of the hotel with a view of the mountains, which in the heat of August was a bit cooler and quieter than at the front overlooking the pool and I really enjoyed sitting on my balcony and staring at the view first thing in the morning. It's really easy and cheap to travel down the hill to OluDeniz either by Dolmus (bus) or taxi and I visited the Blue Lagoon several times at one of the beach clubs there. The OluDeniz/Fethiye area is beautiful and I would highly recommend the Forever Hotel to any solo traveller, I had a great time and will definitely be returning again.

Attention to their guests is top of their agenda. Chill out, lay back and relax, your in for a great holiday. Nothing is too much trouble, if they haven't got it, they will find it for you. Attention to detail is paramount, they have done their homework and it is apparent, the rooms are light and comfortable, the food is to die for, the bar is always open and the hosts are always on hand to deliver your requests.
