I last wrote a review back in 2014 after our 2nd visit. We've been back every year since! Earlier on in the year, we stayed in a 5* All Inclusive Resort. It was amazing but within 2 days, we booked our return trip to The Kibele as we felt that we hadn't had our usual relaxing holiday. As always, Nevzat, Suat and Patricia looked after us so well. They never stop making your holiday a truly memorable one. From the lovely, fresh breakfast to the beautiful tended gardens, they ensure everything is 'just so'. So despite our break earlier on on the year, we learnt that less is more, and the personal touch can not be beaten.

What an amazing place! If you need a tv or mini bar this place is not for you, but if you value 1st class service and the friendliest family environment I have personally experienced, then this IS for you. Not only that it seems to fit any guest, from singles to couples , young and old. The hosts, Nevsat and Surat (hope the spelling is correct) are special people. From the simple things to knowing your name to knowing your drink, to helping you make the most of your stay nothing is too much trouble. The location is also perfect, central to everything you could ever need or want and with taxis being so cheap, along with the willingness of free lifts (From beach bars at the beautiful blue lagoon, to restaurants) the whole area is your oyster. A must stay place.

Love this place and always feels like returning home. Basic accommodation but immaculate and cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Five star service and a real pleasure to recommend.

We are now at the end of our 6th stay at Hotel Kibele. When we leave in a few hours, we leave family 😭! That's how we see this little place I call heaven. I can write of rooms, the pool and other amenities but the "sell points" are really Nevzat, Suat and Patricia who never seem to stop in making our stay(s) perfect. As said, we are on our 6th stay but we always seem to meet other guests who have been back so often it make us seem like newbies. As long as you can embrace the simplicity and accept the hospitality you will enjoy this little piece of heaven.

We stayed here for 3 days as 2 families and experienced one of the greatest, the most relaxing and peaceful holidays of our lives. The hotel is run by two gentlemen who are also brothers and they do everything to accommodate their guests' needs. What I discovered was that the people who stay there, either English or Turkish, go there regularly and are regarded as family once they stay there. I have met people who have been staying there for their summer holidays for about 15-16 years. I absolutely agree with one of the previous traveller's idea saying that he would go there if the brothers Nevzat and Suat were managing and hosting a tent 😄 besides them there's a lovely English lady helping them. Amazing people... The rooms are basic and the furniture is a little dated. BUT everywhere in the hotel including the room, linens, towels, floors, pool area, the pool itself are spotlessly clean and are kept clean very attentively. The breakfast is amazing, plenty of fruit, vegetables, eggs, olives, cheese, butter, jams and honey. We loved the homemade olives sooo much. You help yourselves with breakfast, coffee and the lovely tea as much as you want. The prices in the bar area are very reasonable including the prices of soft and alcoholic drinks, chips and ice cream. You can also have French fries, hamburger, toast and grills for lunch at reasonable prices. We fell in love with the garden, the trees surrounding the hotel and the pool area. There are different kinds of fruit trees and olive trees under the shade of which you can read your books or just relax peacefully. We could feel, see, hear and almost touch the calmness and peace there 😊 it never seems crowded as there are plenty of sunbeds, tables or even better lots of treees to relax. And the people we met there were all lovely. We'll definitely be back sometime soon before summer ends. 5 star hotels has never given us the serenity of this hotel, the sincerity of the owners and the atmosphere. Thank you for everything

This is really a little basic. My 1st thoughts were I had made a mistake. It's a few minutes walk into town and the hotel room was basic. We had a double bed, plus a single for the 2 of us. Shower, balcony and toilet. A/C cost us £30 extra but we didn't need it the 1st couple of nights as the window was open and kept the room cool. Mosies couldn't get in as there is a mosi guard. No tv but that is never on our holiday list. The brothers This is really a little basic. My 1st thoughts were I had made a mistake. It's a few minutes walk into town and the hotel room was basic. They even brought in our washing from the balcony when it rained. Towels changed every day as were beds. We really couldn't fault this place and would happily go back. We had the pool to ourselves and there is also a handy bar. Breakfast just got better every day and the homemade jam is delicious. Free wifi too. Thank you Guys!
