Ok!! Booked all inclusive.. food just ok. Toddler ate most food as did I.. partner and eldest son ate sod all!!! Bar staff was fantastic!! But don’t be fooled by the all inclusive drinks!!! I sat at the bar one morning watching the staff water down all the spirits.. it is what It is.: happening everywhere. Found out I was pregnant at this hospital place so it will always hold a special memory for me!!

Where to start?
OK lets do the possible downsides first
The mosque (which is visible from the back of the hotel) calls to prayer 5 times a day. The first call can be heard at 5 am in the morning and chances are you will hear it. The call usually last just over a minute and then stops.
Personally It didn't bother me, its all part of the culture and I loved it and by the third morning I was sleeping through it.
Next - There are no Irons to use at the hotel so either take a travel iron or use the hotel clothes service. Ask at reception.
That for me are the only things that I feel other people may not be happy with, personally I coped.
Upside
OK , Its a three star hotel, I wasn't expecting to much but was very pleasantly surprised.
We arrived around 3 am in the morning we were checked in with a warm welcome and our bags carried to the room. In the morning we went for breakfast.
Food was lovely, presentation bowls plates everything was immaculate including the staff. The staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. It remained that way throughout our stay and whilst there, we had some lovely meals.
Entertainment staff were friendly and welcoming and involved everyone, they provided much amusement on many a day.
In house - Turkish bath There onsite and well worth a visit.
There were many little things that I personally appreciated, for instance, the grounds are filled with rose bushes and the fragrance filled the air early morning and evening. The hotel itself is very pretty. Its a family run business and they are there most days. Staff are treated well and its always comforting to see the staff eat the food that they serve their guests
The cleaning ladies were friendly and happy and trustworthy. We left our valuables in the rooms whilst at the pool and never missed anything.
Overall it was just a lovely place to stay, we went early May there were only 6 couples there when we arrived by the end of the week it was full with many return clients. I would highly recommend the Ova resort we had a great first visit to Turkey.

AVOID - This hotel now has new Islamic owners, alcohol is strictly barred and they have also introduced separate pools for men and women. Women must cover up at all times. All food is halal. Not an ideal venue for westerners, choose another hotel in the area

New islamic owners has banned alcohol and introduced segregated pools for men and women and everything else who fits the quran.
All-halal menu and they require women to cover-up while at the segregted swimming pool, while your husband can be in a other pool.
You will be trown out if you do not like call to prayer at 04.00 and tthe other 4 times daily. If you want to make holiday in islamic state without head chopping, this hotel will fit your expatations .

This hotel is now islamic. That means alcohol is no longer served. All swimming pools are now segregated for men and women. Halal food is served.

Women must cover up everywhere on the hotel site.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

From now on you'll know you're in a muslim country.
The food is halal. The alcoholic drinks are banned, yes even beer. And at the swimming pool they expect you to wear a burka so not showing off any disgusting flesh....
Guess guest numbers will fall a bit 😉🥂

I've been here twice now and always have a fab time. Me and my husband are going back again this June. We so cannot wait. We find the staff very friendly and always do what they can, If there are no sun beds or parasol then just ask as they will send some one out back to find them and bring them to you. The entertainment staff all always full of life. Must do the family dance and your morning exercise help with the hang over. All in all if you have a open mind and laid back then this is the place for you, Even if your gay like us they are ever open mined and you don't throw it in there face they are happy like the rest of them. Last thing enjoy yourself :-)

There is not too many places in the world where I would visit twice and there is definitely not a hotel that I would stay more than once. But me and my family had such a great time staying at Ova Resort for the value of the money we paid. My two kids age 6 and 8 were very well entertained by the entertainment team and in the kids club while me and my Missus got to spend some quality time together.
For the open buffet, I don't understand why some people are complaining. Every day and night we were spoiled for choice, every night was a different meal, i cant remember once having the same foods, also we could go up and help our self to as many portions as we liked !! My kids loved the food...
Cant say anything bad about the staff either, all of them helped us with many things, and never once did i feel that they didnt want to help us, all such very kind and friendly people...
To be honest i couldnt believe it was only a 3 star hotel i thought at least it was a 4 star !!
I think some of the people bad mouthing this hotel must be crazy, i cant believe some of the comments i read, because it just wasnt like that for my family, and if the stuff wasnt pleasant to you, all i can say is you must have really upset them or something, we had no experience of this what so ever !!

So thanks to Turkey and Thanks to Ova Resort and a MASSIVE THANKS to the staff !!

Needless to say i have booked again for August... See you soon !!!!
