We took over the whole hotel for 3 nights over the New Year for a family gathering and to celebrate my 65th birthday. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home and were instructed to treat the hotel like home. The rooms, the staff and the food were all excellent, nothing was too much trouble to...

Recently stayed 9 nights over the the Christmas period. On check-in the staff were warm and friendly, the unit was very clean and comfortable, extremely cosy. Well equipped kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. There was even a Christmas Tree with lights in the lounge area, it certainly was a very nice touch, and really made it feel like Christmas...

Firstly, friendly and courteous staff, easy to find and plenty of parking. The main house is inviting and well fitted out with ample character and a genuine feel good factor about it. Comfortable walk through a small wooded copse brings you out the cliffs and the sea front with amazing views. Food excellent, couldn't ask for better and with the...

A fiend and I stayed in one of the cottages, Mrs Pages, for a few days for a pre-Christmas get together. The cottage was ideal for us, warm, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. An added joy was the beautifully decorated Christmas tree that had been placed in the sitting room, really made us feel Christmassy! We enjoyed a...

We enjoyed a lovely short break in December 2016 at The Grove to see friends, & were lucky enough to get some bright dry weather, so could make the most of The Grove's location. We did the walk through the woods & along the coast into town a couple of times, & much enjoyed a seal-watching trip (Temple Boats), &...

Had been to visit friends and family, then wanted a relaxing treat. And what a treat! Was shown to room 8, and it is beautiful, huge comfy bed, and as for the bathroom..... so full of character, a wonderful roll-top bath, and the shower with exposed flint wall was amazing! We had a lovely evening meal, compliments by the bucketful...
