My husband and I drove down the Natchez Trace from Tupelo and ended in Natchez. We booked a room at the beautiful Dunleith Inn. The main house is stunning but we choose to stay in the "Dairy Barn" a smaller building with only 3 rooms. It was perfect for us. We were lucky enough to have dinner at their restaurant...

Spent one night with the "getaway package", which is what I believe the best way to stay at this lovely historic plantation. With the package comes one night accommodations, dinner for two at the Castle Restaurant, (selected menu), and buffet breakfast for two. The room is in the main house, either on the second or third floors. I recommend the...

We spent two nights in Natchez and stayed at both Dunleith and Monmouth. Seems all the houses in Natchez weren't actually plantation homes, but more an urban escape for plantation owners. Architecturally, Dunleith is amazing and very impressive from all angles. We thought the service, food, and tour were all fantastic. Dunleith is more than a place to spend a...

I'm sure the rooms in the mansion are splendid...but we staid in a courtyard room with a king sized bed...gorgeous comfy bedding...a lovely large & contemporary bath...we sat in rocking chairs on the huge front porch and toured the house and grounds but slept in comfort!

So, we are on this cross country road trip in two Dodge Vipers with friends and our trip plan takes us through Natchez. My wife and I stayed at Dunleith 15 years ago and suggested if the other couple wants a grand plantation house type of experience that we should splurge and stay here. It was even better than before...just...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed being in such a historic house. We were given the free tour of the house by Terry who was brilliant. We also ate dinner in the Castle restaurant which was superb but that is the subject of a separate review. Our room was on the top floor of the...

The Dunleith offers an immersive luxury hotel experience in a historic setting. Visitors will enjoy the free tours and the open house access which makes you feel more like a guest as opposed to an unwanted interloper. The tour guides are incredibly well prepared and gracious. The Castle Restaurant should not be missed. Most will be pleased to find there...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunleith. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I recommend a room on the second floor of the main house. I inadvertently selected a room on the third floor. Although nice, the third-floor rooms have much less natural light and do require an extra flight of steps. The fireplace in the room was especially...

We met our friends for a two night stay at DUNLEITH inn. Our room was very clean and the whirlpool tub was great! The breakfast was tasty and service was good. We could have stayed longer but the weather was cold and rainy. We enjoyed the piano man mr Butler. He was so accommodating and played the songs we requested...

The first stay at Dunleith it was in the spring and the weather was great in Natchez. I said it was the best place we had ever stayed. Maybe the weather had something to do with it? We went back in August for a wedding and Mississipi is hot in August. I was ready for the rooms to be warm...
