Our stay at the J. N. Stone House was a highlight of our trip through the south. Joe Stone is a marvelous host, whose pride in his heritage is palpable. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable, the bathroom was very well stocked, the Limoges china is gorgeous, and the breakfast delicious. But the best part is Joe himself. He is...

My husband and I chose the Stone House Musicale B&B because the name intrigued us. We are both musicians and thought a recital as well as a historic home sounded like just the thing for us. We were not disappointed! The room was beautiful and comfortable, the house was well preserved and very interesting, the breakfast was delicious, and the...

Enjoyed the museum like quality of the Civil War era home and all the antiques. The piano concert given by Joseph Stone was an evening to remember. A personal tour of family civil war treasures was incredible. Breakfast served on Civil War era China was also a treat.

I brought my visiting parents to the Stone House for a post Thanksgiving getaway. We had a wonderful time. The accommodations are lovely and very representative of the area's history and flavor. Joe is an amazing host - full of knowledge about the history of Natchez...plus so much more. We thoroughly enjoyed the piano concert - beautiful performance - and...

Stayed here recently for 2 days. Our host, Joe Stone, couldn't have been more gracious or helpful. He's refurbished this family homestead balancing a sensitivity to history with assuring comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere. Everywhere you look there are interesting maps, furniture and small decorations. Joe is an excellent cook so the hot breakfast is delicious and served on...

Natchez is a quiet city and we lucked into staying in the Guest Cottage of the house. The owner, Joseph was there to provide historical I site into his family home. So much history! As well we were entertained with a piano soirée one evening. Breakfasts were delightful and served on and with antique pieces. Not just for show. Thank...

I stayed at the J.N. Stone House for two days on a recent trip to the south viewing architecture and culture in the lower Mississippi Valley. My experience was wonderful. Our host was very gracious and attentive, welcomes us each morning with a delightful smile and "Southern " breakfast. His service is over the top, plates are Limoge, real silver...

We loved this place! The beautifully furnished cottage was perfect for a getaway / reunion spot for my sister and I. Our host could not have been more gracious and welcoming. My two children who also came along loved the delicious breakfast served in the beautiful dining room with gorgeous place settings. Mr. Stone was extremely accommodating pertaining to the...

Natchez is a great place to visit and there are many choices for places to stay but hands down The Stone House is the only one worth staying at. If you are fan of history, classic charm, wonderful food, and impeccable service, this is the place for you. The owner, Joe Stone, helped make our anniversary a wonderful experience. If...

Great home with a very gracious host. Loved hearing the home & family history. Wonderful antique furniture and maps in the home. Wish we could have enjoyed the musical performance but we had a wedding to attend. We'll just have to come back and visit again!
